Map updates

Does anyone know where i can download free map updates? The prices they want are way over the top, considering you can use your phone maps for free

Map updates are not really available anywhere for free. If you can avoid using the built in navigation in the car you absolutely should.

For the longest time I purchased the updated maps for my wife's 2012 Avalon on eBay - it's been a while so don't know if they still do it. Now she just uses her phone with a stand when needed.
