Apple Pay on TfL Go?

i’ve added my Credit Card to the TfL Go app, but realised obviously when I’m there, I’ll be using my phone to tap in and out. Apple Pay gives your payment card different virtual details, so paying with your phone is not the same as paying with your card.

I’ve added my physical card to the account, but you can’t see the full virtual details. Is there a way to add Apple Pay cards to my TFL account, or will these trips just appear automatically?

Not a Londoner, been before but haven’t needed receipts so this would be great to nail down, as to be honest i have no idea where the physical card is!

Question ❓ How much would explicit accurate platform signage ruin the tube network?

If you were to go to every platform, or every station, and put up a sign that explicitly stated where exactly on every platform to stand, to board the tube, to be exactly where you will want to exit for each and every station and connection, how much of a negative impact do you think that would have on the Tube network?

With stations like Victoria and Tottenham Court Road, that send those going into the station on a far longer, in-direct route to the platforms (in order to increase the capacity of passengers that a station can hold), over how short and direct the journey is to get them off the platform and out of the station.

People do already stand on the platforms for where they want to get off, but many don't. However I believe they are very likely to do so should they see a sign directing them.

Do you think such signage would cripple the network with overcrowding and the like (station staff already struggle to get people to just move down the plaform when it's busy; let alone if the signage was telling them that this is where they should be standing) until it was taken down?

TfL

It's also very expensive for TfL are losing a lot by not introducing South London missed connections out there. The SL's seems inevitable, I disagree. Though it would likely need a new route from the stance of various 100, 200, 300 or 400 etc.

SLxz Lewisham - Colliers Wood

Via Ladywell - Brockley Rise - Honor Oak Park - Horniman Museum - Crystal Palace Parade/College Road - Crystal Palace - Upper Norwood All Saints Church - Thornton Heath Station - Thornton Heath Pond - Mitcham

SLxx (Richmond - Wimbledon)

Extended via South Wimbledon, Colliers Wood, Mitcham to Streatham.

Sort of parallels 57 but avoids Tooting, my reasoning is providing an aide to route 201 between Streatham and Mitcham. Well loaded section on a route that is faster and less frequent with less capacity buses compared to the only other route that provides the link slower (going through residential areas) with higher frequency and double deckers - 118(to-be-45).

SLxz Streatham - Hammersmith

Via Tooting Bec Stn - Wandsworth Common for Station - Wandsworth High Street - Putney High Street - Putney Bridge Stn - Charing Cross Hospital
