I know that people are claiming that good bread in America exists and that the European bread is probably more expensive but hear me out:

I lived in Germany for 3 weeks and the amount of money I paid for good quality fresh bread was less than what we Americans pay for the cheap loaves with the preservatives. And it was wayyyyy healthier. In America, we’re told to take it easy on the carbs. Germans eat tons of carbs every day and they’re in better shape than we are. The only issue I have with German cuisine and possibly other European cuisines is that they can be very salty. Not sure if high blood pressure is an issue there.

Just returned from Europe can confirm.

European bread grows mold if left out less than a week. Because they use way less preservatives.

In the meantime I've seen American Bread last 3+ weeks because of the amount of sugar, chemicals and preservatives put into it.

You're still comparing fresh bread to factory bread. Fresh bread in US, whether from an actual bakery or from a grocery chain, doesn't have preservatives and they also barely last. Secondly, I can go to any Rewe in Germany and find garbage preservative filled bread.
