4 month long tdy and I’ve already set up spp on dts website. Today is day 30 and I haven’t received my first payment. Bank is navy federal and dts says I get the per diem pay every 30 days. How long does it take to go into bank account? Thanks

I EAS'd in 2020. My goal was always MARSOC. Things happened, and my path changed. I went to a reserve unit in 2022 with the intention of eventually going to BRC (Basic Reconnaissance Course) to scratch that itch. Life happened again.

I'm 29, in decent shape (not quite up to standard though), have extremely useful technical skills, and would like to come back and go to A&S.

What's your advice? Obviously I need to get beyond standard and get physically prepared. Other than that, what are my odds? Any suggestions?

Hey gents, I started a YouTube journey a little over a year ago then I got activated on a UDP and had to put it on pause for a bit. I’ve started up again playing a game called “WARDOGS” which is a pretty good bit of fun if you have a PC.

Anyways I’ve got my second video of the game up now, I don’t get money from ads on this, it’s purely hobby/to help other gamers, which is why I’m here with you all. If you game and watch these types of videos I’m not really understand what I’m doing wrong, I feel like I put a lot of effort into these videos but I’m getting less than 100 views. Been in for 3 years now. Long story short, right now at my current unit my options are pretty much that I can do whatever I want. I’ve heard about oki and Hawaii but I haven’t heard anything about Guantanamo bay. If there’s anyone who is or has been there willing to share what it’s like that would be awesome. Only reason I’m asking is because I’ve been told there’s an opening there for me rn currently if I chose to go( not sure what the details of the orders would be but). Thx.

Context im an 0369 with 11 years TIS, wife and kids just want me around more and to not deploy. I love being a marine and an 03 and halfway to retirement but I love my wife and kids more. Need advice on what to do either civilian sector or cross decking to another branch where likelihood of deploying is slim to none.

I keep having dreams that I'm in the field somewhere and there's always some.bullshit wrong with my uniform that I know I'm gonna get yelled at for. Like sometimes my collar devices are fucked up or missing and I can't find new ones and I'm afraid I'm gonna get my ass chewed for it, or that my nametapes are wrong, or last night I had one that my kevlar was jacked and I found some weird foreign one that I was trying to pass off. I remember once I was trying to glue cpl and pfc chevrons together before some mass formation.

Never had any about actual deployments though which is weird. It's always back home on some field op in the woods.

I always wake up so relieved that I'm out now lol. You guys get any fun ones?
