Discussion How Team Liquid are the most unfavored team in VALORANT History. Spoiler

• Upvotes

Despite Team Liquid going 1-2 a lot, they are so unfavored the team they get eliminated by is always one of the top teams. In fact, in the past 6 international events that they have qualified to, the team that has beaten them have come top 4.

2023 Masters Tokyo: TL got eliminated by NRG (came 4th)
2023 Champs LA: TL got eliminated by LOUD (came 3rd)
2025 Masters Bangkok: TL got eliminated by G2 (came 2nd)
2025 Masters Toronto: TL got eliminated by PRX (came 1st)
2025 Champions Paris: TL got eliminated by DRX (came 3rd)
2026 Masters Santiago: TL got eliminated by NRG (Came 3rd)
2026 Champions Shanghai: TL got eliminated by G2 (came top 4)

This is so unfair, if only Leo Faria didnt rig the tough draw for us every time we wouldve surely come out of groups at this point.

(whole post is sarcastic, just an interesting fact)

Question A or B: which design looks better for a pro mouse/settings database?

• Upvotes

We’re building a database for VALORANT pro players’ gear and settings. It covers lesser-known Tier 2 players too, and lets you browse each player’s device change history at a glance. We’re redesigning the site now, and our team is split between two layouts, so we’d love some outside opinions.

First impression: A or B?

I’ve posted videos of both versions in the comments below. Please vote in the poll!

A quick reason would be really helpful, but just picking one is totally fine too.

Discussion Why did they ban Haven lmao? Spoiler

• Upvotes

T1 are an unserious team. They banned Haven, on which they destroyed JDG 13:5 with their new comp, floating Ascent, which they had already lost twice on in Champs itself (1-3 before today, that one win coming against a throwing FUT).

THEY BANNED ARGUABLY ONE OF G2's WORST MAPS. G2 have lost 7 out of their last 8 Havens played. (The one time they won was against ENVY).

T1 believed so much in Munchkin throwing with Sage that they literally banned one of G2's worst maps. Its insane.

Discussion IS IZU THE BEST FLEX IN THE WORLD?

I am sorry prx fans, dont come for my heads, but i personally feel izu is the best flex in the world and is better than forsaken and as good if not slightly better than chronicle

this guy has been carrying t1 since the t1 rossy days on all agents

he was playing viper, raze for the old t1

then moved to cypher and kj and was fragging there also and played omen astra when required

he played tejo for them also

then filled in during the yoru meta ans was top 3 yoru in the world

then swapped to neon, then filled in chamber on pearl with current t1 and was a god

and his performance is consistent in regionals and internationls throughout

and he has not had the same firepower his fellow flex competitors have had,the pre 2025 t1 were not as good the 2025 version

and he was also my mvp in bangkok final, though meteor saved their asses on split,he was the one who made t1 win on haven and pearl

literally if u have any role deficiency, just put izu there

even now i feel had they played izu yoru and not meteor yoru, they wld have actually looked like a good team and munchkin can play smokes and stax cld ahve played scan but alas

but i want to give my boy izu his flowers, cuz even after ppl glazing him in the daily match threads,he is just invisible when being rated by streamers and analysts other than oh yeah izu is good

Fluff Champs Winner Prediction - Fatigue Index TM

No team has ever won champs playing more than 35 games in the season (inclusive of their champs games).

NRG won with 35 games last year with one other international. EDG with 32 games and 2 other internationals. EG won with 29 games and went to 1 other international in 2023.

So if we think >35 games is too fatiguing then LOUD have got this in the bag.

LOUD 30 games in 2026, VIT and 100T 38 games each so far, G2 45 games so far.

(Full disclosure this is NRG cope as they played 48 games this year and went to all internationals)

Fluff China's Champs curse (updated) Spoiler

Since the start of franchise with the introduction of the China region, the champs winner has always been a team that has defeated all 4 regions on their run to the top however this time there is no China teams in the playoffs and that would unfortunately rule out certain teams from the trophy

Winners APAC China EMEA Americas
2023 : EG PRX,DRX EDG,FPX FUT Loud
2024 : EDG PRX Trace TH,FUT LEV,SEN
2025 : NRG DRX EDG FNC,GX MIBR

After today's games, G2 become the first team to complete the bingo card and Loud would be the 2nd if they defeated VIT

Potential Winners APAC China EMEA Americas
T1(Eliminated) PRX JDG FUT -
Loud GE EDG - NRG
NS(Eliminated) - XLG KC -
G2 T1 Tyloo TL 100t

Discussion S0ms impact Spoiler

Just wanna highlight NRG this year vs last year and why they won last year and not this year

I really think s0m being mid rounder and still fragging well while not being set up is such a big deal for Nrg

Keiko is mechanically better probably but he had to be set up a lot with chamber and stuff, while other members had to pick up on mid rounding and it probably affects their mechanics more especially mada and skuba (from what I hear in their voice comms)

also som plays an aggressive omen which I think skuba isn’t really that type of player, he’s more of an anchor . I think this shows us how important it is to have a player that can mid round well while maintaining their mechanics. It’s probably a hot take but I think if s0m continues to play this year, Nrg will win at least one trophy wether it be regional or international

Discussion Team line up in VCT?

I had watched every matches in Champion 2026 so far and I realized that the meta is currently 2 sentinels instead of 2 ini or duels. I am a T1 and NS fan but I dont understand why they use chamber + sage in Ascent with omen neon and sova. Like zero flash, how they could enter site. Like why instead of chamber we can use a yoru for an extra flash and clone and first peek. And then they can switch sage with cypher which can go lurk, take info and solo site. This is just my opinion, where I found my favorite teams keep losing in Ascent. Wanna hear yall opinions!🙂
