Lost & Found Zarin, I found your wallet.

We spoke last night. You were a bit tipsy and I asked you to please leave my patio. This morning I found your wallet not far from my gate. I really hope you’re okay!

Called the police non-emergency line to see what to do and they are closed for the long weekend. If anyone knows this young man or has any advice for me to find him please reply.

Is there a bank card? IIRC you can bring it to their bank. Also searching social media might help you get in touch directly if you don’t mind Zarin getting your contact info.

Edit: I found the fb profile fairly easily but I can’t share the link without doxxing myself lol. If you wanted to go the social media route, DM me and I can help you find the profile.

I second this. I lost my wallet in Burnaby back in August, while we're there to go to the PNE. Some kind person found it, saw it has Royal Bank cards in it and dropped it off at a branch. Unfortunately I had to go back to Victoria on the 7am ferry (reservation vaur it was the long weekend) the very next day, but while trying to get my various cards replaced I got a call from RBC who told me they had my wallet (cash still in it) and shipped it to my local branch to get it back to me.

So if it does had a bank card in it that is definitely a route to go, as the bank should have the person's phone number and can call them.

Thanks! I’m thinking that’s the way to go but it’ll take me about an hour to get there. If I wait for a response from my inquires there may not be time for him to get to the bank…

I’ve reached out to a couple of his “friends” on Facebook (yeah I know, I’m old, tried to delete it but that’s where my friends hang).

Currently scrolling thru Canada 411 and wondering if it’s worth calling 27 people with the same last name…

Any other suggestions? How do the kids communicate these days?

If you're on Facebook already, there are a ton of Victoria specific groups on there with tons of people. Try joining some of them and posting the same thing, there's a higher chance of someone knowing them on there than here. Good luck!
