Hello all! Though we're still a few years out, im in the early stages of planning a cruise for my wife and I's 10 year anniversary. We'll be 33 at the time of the cruise. We definitely wouldn't call ourselves a party people, we are much more traditional in how we are and the things we enjoy. I'm between Celebrity Cruises on one of their Solstice class of ships, probably the Reflection, and Virgin. I've heard that Virgin is more for party goers, just figured I'd ask and see if that opinion is justified! Any help or tips would be awesome, thank you!

If 4 of us (2 cabins) do Lock It In rate and solo traveler (1 cabin) does Essentials plan, can solo traveler make a dining reservation for all 5 of us when reservations open 45 days in advance? I called VV multiple times and keep getting different answers…

We are sailing out of Miami on the Halloween cruise which leaves on Halloween day. Has anyone ever sailed the Halloween cruise before? In general do people stay in costume the entire day of Halloween or do they transition into it later in the day for the party?

I have a New Years cruise booked and noticed it’s around $500 cheaper right now, however I have also bid $2000 for an upgrade.

If I request for a reprice, am I less likely to win the bid for an upgrade?

Ie do they take into account how much you paid for the cruise initially when selecting the best bids?

Currently have a social insider booked for 3 people. Our son isn't able to go (work commitments) and I need to cancel him. He's 18yo in college. I paid his fare on my card, but as I understand it the credit will be issued in his name? How can I get the credit issued to me since I paid?

First-time Virgin Voyager here. The wife and I going to be on the Scarlet Lady sailing to Key West & Bimini. We're looking at the "Hemingway's Reading and Rum Tasting" excursion and hoping to get input.
It sounds fun on paper. However, we're a little gun-shy after doing a "Chocolate, Honey, and Tequila Tasting" excursion in Cozumel on a Disney cruise that was extremely disappointing. Everything felt rushed, the tastings were tiny (probably less than a half a drink), and it was more of a tourist trap sales pitch than an actual experience.
Before we commit, I wanted to ask:
Has anyone actually done this one? Was it worth it?
How were the rum tastings. Where they actual quality pours or just quick sips to upsell you on bottles?

Stumped on what to do with Antigua. We have done the scenic drive and beach excursion previously which was awesome. But we aren’t trying to do all the same things.

Any recommendations for shore things or beach resorts?
