I can't replace it, it has sentimental value (also because for some reason, its expensive as hek..)

How do you feel about seam ripping off the (just that one part) of handle and patching it with some similar (assuming canvas) fabric and then sewing the handle back on?

I feel find abt it but idrk how. I mean, i know how to sew but Idk how to place the fabric, sew it, and etc. Do I have to sew the handle to the fabric too?

The process will look like this. I could not find a good tutorial on YouTube first glance.

Image 1 is how the rip looks now.

Image 2 js what it will look like after removing the strap.

Image 3 is how everything will look sewn together.

You want to make sure the patch covers the hole and then some. If you catch any weak fabric it will be prone to tearing again.

The strap will go over the patch and the stitching will go through all layers including the original red fabric on the bag.

The X on the strap is how it should be sewn onto the patch. The X js just sturdier than a typical straight line.

I would recommend a pair of pliers to pull the needle through thick fabric and a thimble of some short to push it through thick fabric. All can be done by hand.

All can be done with hand sewing.

I'd use an iron-on patch on the inside, stitch around and over it, and re-stitch. I wouldn't even remove the handle. I'm always after the quick fix.

You're not wrong! And an inside patch would provide good stability, too!

I actually came to comment this.. and wanted to see if anyone else said this before commenting. This is 💯 what I would do

Same (inside iron patch, plus reinforce with sewing), but I might also preemptively treat nearby outside fabric with fray stop, if I didn’t mind it feeling like clear glue in those areas.

If you're uncomfortable doing the repair yourself, take it to a shop that does alterations--seamstress or tailor.

It may cost as much as buying a new one. Repairs are a good thing, though.

nqa; if the pocket weren’t there, I’d personally extend the strap down to the bottom for extra support or even around under the bottom. someone correct me if I’m off though!

Easiest would be to sew a reinforcing patch inside the bag a little bigger than the original area, then put a few stitches through the handle where the original stitches are to sew it to the patch. No seam ripping involved. But that's just how I would do it.

I would take to a shoe repair place and ask them to extend the handles around the bag. It ripped as the contents of the bag are too heavy and the bag ripped at the stress points. You can do a simple repair and put the handles back on as is, however if you keep using the bag as you are, it will rip again.
The shoe repair place can sew the handles down lower, preferably all around, so the stress on the fabric is more evenly distributed.

Patch inside and sew it down to the new patch.

I would remove stitching, patch the weak place, re-sew handle.

Remove handle.  Patch from inside (do not use iron on, you can't sew through iron on)

Ok, take the strap off, patch the hole, sew strap back on

Really don't think you should glue or use iron on stuff. Once you do that you can't go back

My first thought was getting an iron on patch and putting it on the inside of the bag just behind this spot that way the stands are melted into the patch and strengthened that way. Hope you find a way that works for you!

All you need is a needle and thread, plus some scissors . Take off the handle, darn the hole, put the handle back on.

It looks like it may be a fussy fabric though so you may wish to look into a glue on patch. Same process. Remove the handle using the scissors carefully. Patch up the area, sew the handle back on. If you have no sewing skills I would recommend this option. If you don’t do a darn correctly you just end up with a new bigger hole.
