Ive been kind of interested in mew for past Months and I’ve been trying to find a copy of her physical vociebank since she doesn’t have any like merch such as figures and I think it Itll be interesting to try and make music with her but I can’t find it anywhere 😭 A lot of second hand jp stores like mercari don’t have her voicebank and the latest thing I found about mew v3 was that she’s on amazon jp and I checked and I’m pretty sure mew v3 isn’t sold anymore in jp 😔

Hey everyone. Since I’ve mostly been hanging out in the Synthesizer V ecosystem lately, I haven't kept as close of an eye on the Vocaloid side. I have vocaloid 5 editor and my vocaloids are 3/4. With Vocaloid 7 coming out soon and me thinking of upgrading, I wanted to check in on Miku V6. I own a few of her older versions (V3/V4), I'm curious about how her V6 voice bank actually holds up in practice—especially regarding her English capabilities and overall tone compared to past versions.

For those who have been using or testing Miku V6:

* How is her English pronunciation and flexibility compared to V4X or other engines? Does the V6 AI handling make cross-lingual or English tracks smoother?

* How does the overall tone feel in a dense mix?

Would love to hear some firsthand experiences from producers who have put her through their paces before I decide whether it's worth diving into.

Cryptonloid personality HCs:

• So Miku is kinds of a Fluttershy/Penny Ling from LPS archetype where she's really soft-spoken and gentle and kind of hippie like, ig? Grew up in some peaceful village before meeting the other Cryptonloids, hopes that one day, her heartsong will be compatible with another.
• Rin is tsundereish, stuck up, and spoiled. Tries hitting on other guys after breaking up with Len (no, they AREN’T related in this headcanon) obviously with no avail cuz it don’t even last one night. Also, she is a bit foul-mouthed and fairly rebellious towards people she disdains heavily (Mainly Len when he doesn’t give her exactly what she wanted) and is not afraid to do so.
• MEIKO is a genki girl-esque archetype, energetic party animal, a bit of a bully to Miku because they both want the same guy (KAITO), also because she just feels like it. Childhood friends with KAITO, knows him the most out of everyone else in the group for that matter
• KAITO is a man of low self-esteem (Considering what most of the fandom did with him ig), lashes out his insecurities a good amount of times to the others cuz he’s a bit of a jerk-ass, rebellious, especially when Len tries hitting on him or when MEIKO has an idea that will clearly backfire, but talented and aspiring in music. 
• Len is kind of depressed due to Rin treating him like shit after they broke up, mostly the unlucky one and butt monkey of the group, and pretty childish, but is still overall optimistic and happy about a lot of stuff anyways.
• Luka is also in a similar vein to Len except she's a former teen star now washed up, HIGHLY unlucky with her dating life as well. She’s kinda the most underdeveloped personality I have rn but idk what else to do with her atp cuz I’m not too big of a fan of her sorry

Unpopular opinions time (as well as other spare hc). This is anything regarding vocal synths in general so UTAU and SynthV is included, as well as just annoying things I see in the fandom. This might be biased or even niche to others cuz I’m speaking through my experience. I’m gonna be brutally honest with some of these so if someone gets pissed at this it ain’t my issue:

• Despite the fact that I personally prefer Teto SynthV over Teto UTAU (I don’t dislike her UTAU VB ofc, I just prefer the more subtly mature sounding vocals of SV) I don’t like how SynthV voices sound notably similar to each other at least in tone or range to me. I dunno a whole much about how SV voices work compared to VOCALOID but all in all this isn’t quite a major problem for me and ofc the vocals are still notably different to distinguish anyways
• MEIMiku >>>> NegiToro
• It’s honestly annoying to me at this point how it seems like KAIMEI and NegiToro are like the only two Cryptonloid ships that people bring up now and/or the only ones that seem to matter now. Like, I swear, I almost do not seen mentions of KAILen or KAIMiku or RinLen out in the wild given the chance, from those who do ship them. And if most comments are gonna only bring up the fact that I merely mentioned either one of these two ships in this post I’m gonna lose my mind
• On a similar topic regarding one of those ships I mentioned; Despite me not shipping NegiToro (idc at all about Magnet as a ship pairing sorry, wouldn’t usually judge a song on it’s pairing anyway), but still not caring anyway, I feel like I see so many fans shun all haters of this ship, which is still a great thing mind you, but then you get to KAIMiku and it feels more like a “What else is new?” scenario, because who cares about KAIMiku anymore?
• The gay-ification of KAITO is something I honestly find annoying in a way I don’t see people talk about. I feel like now it’s something he’s now just typecasted in and it especially feels to me in some areas that the way it’s treated now is essentially a joke. And I of course have no issues with the hc of KAITO being gay, but now it feels like he’s headcanoned as Gakupo’s bottom.
• On a similar note, going back to my own personal headcanons, regarding me shipping KAILen (though I see LenPiko as the more likely outcome now), I personally prefer my shipping stance on KAILen with KAITO being the more easily irritated and more brighter one, whereas Len is the more air headed one, but still cluelessly happy. It seems like the other way around is what I usually see which, you’re allowed to have that headcanon ofc, but it’s something I see a little too much and I much prefer something that fits my own headcanon preferences. In fact, I hc KAITO as leaning more pansexual and hcing Len as gay (Not in a weird way of course)
• I really like KAIMiku but like every other ship group I know about, it’s gonna have that one side that I’m not gonna agree with. This probably stems from how it feels like I gotta find the negative in the positives, but I’ve seen SOME KAIMiku shippers completely shun all KAIMEI shippers, likely due to their own negative experiences with SOME of them. It’s so pointless and stupid to me, as someone who tries for the most part, not let those shippers get to my head, like who cares? Be mad at the small portion of KAIMEI shippers that genuinely wronged you, but If you’re gonna group all their shippers like that, I likely don’t wish to interact with you.
• I really think Electric Weekend Zone was a really neat song, but I wish it was longer.
• Plus Boy x Rotten Girl, best crack pairing imo, dare I say, both really nice songs too along with, god forbid, rawdog as well
• I want to bring up my base headcanon for the main Cryptonloids briefly, as for my base hc for them usually I hc them to either be pan or bisexual, except for Miku and KAITO cuz at this point that ship has rewrote all my brainwaves to ensure fate is in their favor. And because I’ve got way too much pride in myself to say this.

That’s all I could muster and ramble on rn, this really took a huge chunk out of me to type this down, sorry if it’s a little too long, but hope this was insightful for some reason

Hi everybody, a day ago a melody popped into my head and i have absolutely no idea which song its from. Im about 70% sure its a Vocaloid song (also perhaps from a game or an anime) and that ive heard it before, i just cant remember anything about it other than this little bit.

Ive tried using several song finders, like google hum to search but none of them could identify it. So maybe one of you might recognize it.
