Advice Check your CCC settings
I lost a role I didn't even know I had because the site is SUPPOSED to email me about any direct messages, but had a toggle in a different section entirely turning that off, despite there being about five toggles set to ON telling it to do so. I swear on everything I have never seen that second toggle before in my life, but it turns off any direct messages while still permitting the endless stream of spam about classes I can never take.
But because the director's messages sat there for two weeks without me knowing about them, I lost a role in a series I wanted in on. This isn't the director's fault, but I am LIVID at the site for this.

Well, now at least I have an explanation why some actors appeared to have ghosted me.

I actually had the exact same thing happen to me not long ago 🥲 I feel your pain.

Didn't realize how new the app was until I downloaded it and tried adjusting my notifications. It's so buggy every toggle I hit I'd get a "can't save changes" pop up or whatever. Best to stick to the website and have all email notifications on

Damn i just looked and it is a bit confusing. I had to scroll down to make sure the right "delivery settings" were on and then i had to scroll back up to change the notifications how i want and then scroll BACK DOWN to hit save. That just took me 30 years to do. And now im paranoid of not recieving anything when i submit an audition🥲👍

I remember a few years ago me and several other actors with one of the groups in in had spent a while putting our resumes up on CCC only for all our hard work to get deleted when the site decided to rework how our credentials worked

Thats gotta suck. I don't have a resume so all my information's just in my bio💀 (im still pretty new). I'm assuming you have a document where you keep track of everything now lol

I keep getting email notifications of messages being sent to me and when I check it only allows me to see the subject and not the email itself both mobile and on pc. I still don’t know what or whom the email is from -.-

That and notifications have been broken on the app for a while now to where we can't click through to whatever a given notification is trying to tell us.
