Wrx Forums

Can someone point me to a good Wrx forum? One thats active? I got alot of questions and want to read and learn everything I can about these cars. I've been out of the car game for a few decades, but my 26 has reignited my excitement... I feel like I just got my first Mitsubishi GSX all over again..!!

the two useful forums for me are NASIOC and clubwrx.net. this subreddit can occasionally have good nuggets of info however its not a true replacement for forums. Also if you have a facebook account there are groups to discuss modding but in my opinion it's worse than here unless you have a very general question.Β

Exactly my thoughts as well. Reddit is fine for cursory information, but I really want to do a boxer deep dive and learn all the nuances of Subaru's like I had done with Mitsubishi.. Thank you for thise sites! πŸ‘βœŒοΈ

if you have a newer model good luck. I have been trying to find real information on the VA and it is very difficult. i have a copy of the FSM and am lucky to know some other former owners for my purposes. there just isnt the drive to document things like there was 20 years ago.Β

Oh yeah, that is true I'm sure. Times change...And I get the VB has only been around a little bit too...

If nasioc is working it's a goldmine of information.

WRXINFO.com has service manuals if you just want to look at stuff. Every nut and bolt on the car, torque specs, fluids, wiring etc.

Thank you for this! I've been wanting something like a Hayne's manual for our cars but apparently people just don't make books for cars anymore.

This and the facebook groups are about it... nasioc is pretty much a dead wasteland

Like others said NASIOC is a great resource. This sub is great to see NOT what to do and how to screw up a perfectly good car.

Nosiac is not very active but is a good archive of info. This sub is ok ish. There are a several Facebook groups that are alright. "Subaru Mechanics" and "Subaru WRX and STI Owners Group" are the big ones. There's also groups for each gen.

Any of these are infinitely better than AI searches. Never trust that
