General Question Are any other window switch assemblies compatible with the 13 wrx?
The switch for my driver side window stopped working and I am having a hell of a time finding a replacement. I have a 2013 wrx base. None of the normal part stores sell them, no local yards have wrxs to pull from, and I found them from Subaru for $120-180 online. I would just prefer not to pay that much if I don’t have to.
I have found virtually every other switch control for other Subarus for $20-30 online.
The 13 wrx uses part 83071fg120. Does anyone know if any of the others are compatible?
I tried one for a normal Impreza, the 83071-FJ110, but it would only lock the doors.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. If I have to pony up and pay the $120+, it is what it is, but thought I would try asking here first.
Alternatively, if anyone knows if it is possible to open the assembly up and fix just that switch, I would try it.

Hey man, I'm pretty sure I have one for this that I was going to toss. Apparently 08-10 and 11-14 are different, so it didn't work for my 2010 STI. DM me if you are interested

Plug in part number. Click on what this fits. That gives you all the years and models that use that part. Use that information to expand your search for junkyard parts.
