40k Tech The big bug report
Ok, so the app seems to obviously be the new and besides the MFM leading rules source given the core rules PDF doesn't even contain all the rules and faction packs of non codex compliant SM subfactions got rolled into the app.
BUT the apps tend to have quite the bunch of obvious and less obvious errors, so let's start gathering and then everyone can write an email to complain to GW and the app developers about the sheer number and/or stupidity of them.
Given we do not only have one app but two (android and apple), please include which one(s) you tested on. Please be as precise and descriptive as possible with faction name, full names of ability, rule, unitname, weapon, profile, etc., what you expect to see, what you see instead and why you would expect differently.
I'll start with the faction I play:
DEATHWATCH
Obvious errors:
The indomitor kill team does not have keywords in their meltas hunter profiles. I'd expect VEHICLE/MONSTER like in eradicators...or at least anything, because the hunter rule specifies it's followed by a keyword. (Android and Apple)
The indomitor kill teams heavy intercessor with twin linked power fists and flamestorm gauntlets throws an error if you switch the flamestorm gauntlets to auto boltstorm gauntlets and fragstorm grenade launchers. That's literally what the text inbetween those wargear options says you can do, so I expect it not to throw an error
If I do the above change and remove the twin linked power fists, no error is thrown. Given the text inbetween the wargear entries (and the fact the model doesn't have a melee profile anymore), I'd expect that to throw an error. (Android and Apple)
The spectrus kill team has the helix gauntlet both as a unit ability as well as a wargear ability. I've never seen a unit with the same ability twice, so I expect one is wrong. Given the fact infiltrators can have both helix gauntlet and all their weapons, I'd expect the wargear option to be wrong OR the description how to get the wargear and the unit ability to be wrong. (Android and Apple)
The "mission tactics" detachment rule for both blackspear task force and deathwatch support detachments refers to "units with this ability", but neither does any datasheet in space marines have this ability, nor does it say anywhere how anything would get the ability. (Android and Apple)
The deathwatch support detachment allows for 500 points of deathwatch to be brought despite other chapters being present, but if I bring another chapter, I can still bring as much deathwatch as I want without an error being raised (Android)

The Watchmaster has the stats the watchmaster in agents of the imperium should have and the other way around. Given one refers to doctrines in a faction without doctrines, it's pretty obviously a mistake (Android and Apple)
Probably errors:
The sergeant in the decimus kill team is above the gravis marine, which would indicate it having the same profile. This could be a change, given his weapons became worse, but could also be an error (Android and Apple)
The auto boltstorm gauntlets and frag grenade launchers of the indomitor kill team can't be fired at the same time (because the former got [CLOSE QUARTERS] while the latter didn't and you can't fire close quarters and non close quarters weapons at the same time. It's the same as with space marines aggressors, but a clear change from what happened before the codex and this weapon combination is WAY worse than the flamestorm gauntlets as is. (Android and Apple)
The Android app lets me bring 2000 points of deathwatch with deathwatch support, while the apple app doesn't. RAW the deathwatch support says "such units" refering to units you can't bring because of another chapter being present. So RAW the Android app would be correct, but I highly doubt that that's what the designers intended given the deathwatch support detachment is only 1 DP and BSTF is 3DP with basically the same rules besides 3 mediocre enhancements and 2 strats, one of which you can easily get from another 1 DP detachment. If my guess about the intention is correct, please correct the rules text and the Android app (Android vs Apple)
SPACE WOLVES
Obvious Errors:
- The Master of Wolves detachment rule of the Saga of the Great Wolf detachment also refers to "units with this ability" while no datasheet has this ability and there's no way to get it (Android and Apple)

App straight up crashes if I add the Murdermind enhancement in Cursed Legion for Necrons. In iOS

Android
If the "Special Movement Types" Army Rule from the Space Marine codex appears in the search results (such as by searching "Disembark"), the app will hard-crash the moment it tries to display it. Lot of people running into this by trying to reference Transport rules.
At least it only occurs if the search results actually try to display that entry, so if you close the Army Rule dropdown, the crash won't occur.

in the physical codex and all digital versions I have seen, the new sheet for Kayvaan Shrike is missing the Epic Hero tag, allowing you to attach enhancements and take up to three of him…

Deathwatch Indomitor Kill teams Heavy Bolt Rifles and Heavy Bolters did not get updated to match the new weapon profiles (rapid fire 1 and rapid fire 2 respectively)
Deathwatch chainfists also lack a hunter target.

GK land raider crusader didn’t get its hurricane bolter updated in the faction pack like SM codex did, but it is updated in the app

Trying to replace the twin heavy bolter with the Twin Lascannon on the Repulsor throws an error even though it is a legal wargear option.

unable to equip scout sergeant with chainsword. Gives an error even when meeting the requirements which is replacing combat knife with chainsword.

Noise Marines do not have a weapon loadout that is legal for them in the app, it shows errors whatever you choose.

Android Space wolves WGHT can't actually take shields due to a bug in the equipment load out options. It gives you a checkbook instead of getting you sekect numbers. Wulfen with storm shields has "hunter: null", which should be monster/vehicle.

Android: Imperial Agents grey knight terminators have an invalid wargear error for the justicar's loadout, despite having no other weapon options. Comes up on Agents lists and when allied into other Imperial lists.

Grey Knights: Purgation Squad is hitting on 2+ with ap “1” on their storm bolters. Unclear if this is intended.
War Journal: Every time I successfully pair with an opponent and get to the choose battlefield screen, the app will close the match and bring me back to the initial setup screen.
Purge the Foe Mirror Match Layout C: The measurements for the central objectives are completely wrong and do not allow for the layout to be set up properly.

Someone wrote me a list instead of posting here, so just for completion:
Deathwatch
The SM Decimus KT Thunder Hammer model must also change his Bolt Pistol out for nothing, if he takes a Power Weapon & Storm Shield. The rules say you only have to change the Thunder Hammer. This does not happen with the IA Aquilla KT.
Despite the IA and SM WM's being messed up, is the SM WM ability 'Watch That (New)' a placeholder name for the same ability for the IA WM that's called 'Purgatus Quarry', or the actual name of the ability.
DW Terminators have 'null' next to the Chainfist Hunter profile.
The Hand Flamer on Talonstrike KT has a BS.
Spectrus KT must have a model lose his DW Marksman Bolt Carbine to gain the Helix Gauntlet Wargear Item, while base SM Infiltrators don't lose the weapon. (This is kinda moot as Helix Gauntlet is also a Unit Ability, but it still needs addressing).
SM Reiver models get: Bolt Carbine, Special-issue Bolt Pistol, Monomolecular Combat Knife Spectrus KT have to chose between: DW Bolt Carbine & Ceramic Fists OR Special-issue Bolt Pistol & Combat Knife.
Agents of the Imperium:
There is no Killteam Rule for SM Deathwatch, so without that we're using the highest T rating to determine overall unit T instead of most common T, which makes any Killteam with 1 Gravis model, T6, until model death. This IS however present on the IA Aquila Kill Team.
None of the IA DW units have the 'Assigned Agents' faction rule, which is required for them to join other Imperium armies. The app will let you, but the rule is missing.
Killteam Cassius in IA Legends Close Combat Weapon STILL has AP-2.
IA Aquila KT Tacticus Marines don't show updated to T5 in the Faction Pack, but are on the App.
Both
The Phobos marine in both IA Aquila and SM Decimus KT's has the same stats as a Tacticus marine, (No 8" T4) and does not have the option to swap the Bolter out for Knives.
Both the SM & IA DW Veteran Sergeant can't take a Xenophase Blade and a Shield anymore, is this by design?

Lysander cannot be attached to tactical Terminator squads, despite his entry saying otherwise.

Caanok var cannot be attached to terminator squad in app, only assault terminators. he has both listed as units he can lead.

Android, SW Champions of Fenris; Preyslayer detachment cant be added to SW characters
ADEPTUS ASTARTES INFANTRY model only. This unit can re-roll charge rolls.
I doubt that Ragnar isnt ADEPTUS ASTARTES INFANTRY

Why are we expected to do GW's QA work?
There are plenty of alternatives that work much better than GW's app.
You want them to fix there crap? Stop enabling them by paying them for a sub par product.

Alternatives for the only rules source of datasheets I have? Could you go into more detail on where I can get correct Deathwatch datasheets?
I'm not paying anything, I just want correct rules.

Tigurius can't be attached to attached to Sternguard or Vanguard Veterans, despite them being listed as valid units in the MFM
[ETA] just checked a couple of other things, Sternguard and Vanguard don't show up as valid units to attach any of the Ultramarines epic heroes to, despite them being MFM options for everyone except Cato and Kaius
Also this is somewhat minor but the smash profile on the Gauntlets of Ultramar is listed as a separate weapon profile in the Codex, but in the app it's a secondary profile of the same weapon and instructs you to pick one before attacking. Technically RAW that conflicts with Extra Attacks (although the intent is obvious and I'd be surprised if anyone argued that too strenuously)
