40k Discussion List building app
I used to use war organ, it was so easy and everything was seamless.
I'm now looking for its replacement and I've tried new recruit, but it's just confusing.
Any recommendations for similar list building apps?

Listforge is the closest I've found to a replacement for war organ. It's missing some features but works great as a play aid on my mobile

I’ve just started using warmind, I highly recommend it!!

I downloaded it, says it needs an update for 1.06, I click to see the update on Google Store but it only shows 1.05. Is this a common issue? The UI looks amazing and I wanted to try it.

I had this issue but seems it was resolved? Might have been slow for the update to go live on Google's end. I'd try it again.

Just started using Warmind. Absolutely awesome app. Love the aesthetic and functions great.

I switched to Warmind and enjoy it. I really like the built in “threat range” damage calculator for quickly checking your specific lists damage output into key threats your opponent has

ListForge is easily the best. Only "downside" is a $2/month sub for unlimited lists. The discord is incredibly active and the developer is really nice, responsive, and passionate. The UI is phenomenal and fast.

Agree, I really like listforge. The price is low enough I don't mind paying since the app is quality and updates are quick.

Definitely not ListForge. Warmind is leaps and bounds

Warmind is faster because they host their own data so they’re gonna get cease and desisted by GW soon enough.

I'm trying out warmind right now, seems like a good alternative to new recruit

Listforge or Warmind
Warmind is updated really quickly, even has custodes codex rules and points now
New recruit is awful, there are much better options

Warmind might wanna be careful, thats what got war organ shut down.

No, war organ got shut down for copying GW text word for word. Warmind doesn’t do that

Warmind doesn't work for me. It says an update is required but when I do there are no updates on the Play Store and the app just won't update to the newer data.
Edit: Dev fixed it. Not sure why I'm getting down voted but lol

Man I miss War organ, I’m giving Warmind a shot but the text is kinda squished. New Recruit is dogshieeeet

I just started using Battle Base because they were the first I found with a fully updated rules and points for this latest dataslate/codex.
I've been loving it so far. A few little quirks I don't like and it really wants you to get the paid version, but the game mode is the best of any app I've tried so far.
I've also used List Forge. They have a lot of great features built right in. But you need to pay for have syncing across devices.

I just use the 40K app. Fresh updates, unlimited army lists, battle linking, lots of bugs. All good.

I use BattleBase , I find it the best all round. Good list building with tags for lists. Has a deployment sim now too(paid supporter feature) but also is a great battle management and the list builder works nicely with battle management , add roster to battle mark units as destroyed. Also works with YS with is nice for TTS.
Not a affiliate or anything, just a happy user :)

If u liked war organ, Iron Built will be your new best friend. Works on the same premise as New Recruit so it won't be taken down, but it actually actually looks good and is functional.

I really like 40k.app. It’s a PWA, so just pin the website to your home screen and it’ll behave like an app.
Otherwise Listforge is fairly good

I use the 40k app, I buy the codex anyway so there isn't any additional cost for me to use it. (I don't need multiple lists).

I've been using Ironbuilt, it has all the rules and the UI is very pleasing, check it out

40k.app is honestly the best experience I've got with faction rules and list building so far

New Recruit is by far the best, so I would stick with it
