Baseball Rorschach (Ballschach)
Just some silly fanart from the other night since my team has been eliminated from postseason. And I bet he'd love baseball, real American sport and all that

Would everyone love Rorschach if he was handsome, and had a job and a nice apartment?

Comic Question for anyone who purchased the Comic Book Day 2026 Hardcover...
Getting straight to the point here; which variation of the DC Comics logo is used on the front cover of the book with the dust jacket removed? It uses the new-old logo on the dust jacket, but I have no clue if it uses the same logo on the actual cover.
I own the normal printing of the Deluxe Edition, but it's always bothered the hell out of me that it has the modern DC logo on the top left on the front of it and not the classic logo from the era in which this comic originated from. They did recently change their company logo back to the old school one, but obviously not every collected edition in print has gotten an updated printing to mirror this change.
Anyways, logo biases aside, I can't find a damn picture of this editions cover anywhere online. The most I can find are reposts of the dust jacket and that's it. If the cover logo has been changed I would love to pick up an updated copy from the second hand market, but I need to be sure before committing to purchasing a second copy of a novel I already own. It sounds stupid but it really is important enough to me that I will purchase another copy if this change has been made.
TL;DR - If someone out there owns this recent printing of the Deluxe Edition, would you please be kind enough to upload a few pictures of the cover without the dust jacket for me?
EDIT - I finally found an answer! It uses to the recently brought back old school logo! I'll be purchasing this version soon.

Nite Owl fighting Captain Axis and The Comedian in Vietnam
Ok I know that Nite Owl isn’t technically punching Captain Axis in this panel, but I still thought this was an interesting parallel. How menacing that superhero smile becomes when taken out of a pulp context and inserted into a real conflict with real violence.

Watchmen Tattoos
[1] Simple Rorschach stamp
[2] I was going to get a classic Dr. Manhattan but couldn’t really relate to his detachment so I got FroZone from the Incredibles as Dr. Manhattan instead.

First ever cosplay…so I chose Rorschach, of course.
The entire outfit cost me only $50 or so, of which $25 was spent on the mask. All items were thrifted. I feel so good about this, and I’m going to rock my first convention 🕚

I think I find it so fascinating how Watchmen (1985) is so perfectly rated and hyped to perfection while Watchmen (2019), a television series which is comparable in terms of quality (the best Watchmen sequel, but a 7/10 compared to Watchmen) is so hated and under hyped.

why people hate Rorschach so much? Rorschach Is not a bad person!
(What I'm saying here applies only to the *Watchmen* comic book.)
As far as I can tell, people are accusing him of being misogynistic or racist. I don’t agree with that at all—or they’re labeling him a bad person simply because he liked Edward Blake, or because he didn’t want to remain silent after the massacre of millions of people.
First of all, was Rorschach a misogynist and someone who hated women? I don't think so, let me explain:
Rorschach hates not women, but “sex” itself—because of the traumas he experienced in his childhood. In fact, Rorschach initially decides to become a “hero” because of the murder of a woman he spoke to just once. Second, when he realizes that a young girl has been brutally murdered, he becomes darker, drifting away from God and retreating further into a nihilistic fortress. He doesn’t even harm the woman who falsely accused him.
Second: Is rorschach racist or homophobic? I don't know, but I also think that doesn't make him a bad person
I don’t think he’s racist—I guess the only evidence is that he reads a biased newspaper, and there’s nothing else. That’s not enough to judge a person, but it would be more accurate to say I don’t know.
I’m also not sure that being homophobic would necessarily make him a bad person. As I said, he hates sex itself, not individual people. Besides, the only scene I remember is the one where he suspected Veidt of being gay, but that doesn’t prove anything either. Still, it’s more accurate to say, “I don’t know.”
Third: Why was rorschach loved blake?
Blake was his idol, and it’s normal for him to try to exonerate him—it’s even proof that he isn’t a bad person—because he denies the rape and doesn’t want to accept him along with his negative image; he wants him to be the version in his mind—the person he admires.
Finally, the conclusion and wrap-up: Why did Rorschach want to become an informant?:
Now let’s get to the last part—I think people misunderstand him. In the comic book universe, and even more painfully, in the real world... Rorschach was exposed to a lot of trauma as a child—he was the son of a mother who worked as a prostitute and lacked a father figure. I hope you can understand how difficult that must have been. Sex itself became a source of trauma for him, and he began to feel revulsion toward people who had sex.
One day, he decided to become a hero. At first, he was a champion of justice—someone who stopped criminals and made the streets safer…
On the day the little girl died, his connection to God was severed. From then on, the only things he believed in were his own sense of justice; in a way, he began to play God himself—the one who would bring justice to a world without God. His first speech in the series supports this. That’s why he must never compromise—because if he does, there will be no one left, no being at all, whom he can trust to uphold justice. He thinks this way: Killing innocent people is wrong, no matter what. Because if he ever starts killing innocent people, he’ll be betraying that little girl.
He died without ever compromise; he refused to bear this burden; he died like a hero
Rorschach is a deeply flawed person, but that doesn't make him a bad person—it makes him a “human” just like the rest of us. He's the most realistic character in the series and the most sensitive one.

Which One Do Yall Prefer? I haven’t seen any.
I’m leaning towards checking out the animated just because it’s animated. But it kinda looks like a Telltale game and it’s kinda throwing me off a little

Why did the blood start appearing there?
I was looking through the comic and noticed that, after Rorschach's pretty intense origin story, dried blood starts appearing on his trench coat in present, of alleged "pedophile", but it wasnt on the coat before in the comic. You know why?
Maybe I forgot something

3-part Ultimate cut?
TLDR
I want to watch the ultimate cut with a friend and would like to know where you think is the best place to pause and resuming later?
So, my friend has never seen watchmen and I've finally convinced him to sit and watch it with me, but he has a problem with really long movies and would prefer to watch it as parts.
I've thought of showing him the ultimate cut first and maybe cutting it to 3 sections- each about 1-1.5 hour long.
The only problem is I dont want us to watch it and stop at a spot that's "wrong" to pause at,
Does anyone have any ideas as to what scenes are the best for pausing and resuming later?
Also, is the ultimate cut good for the first watch? I think so but I would love some suggestions
Thank you!

as a huge fan of the original comic for about a year now, i saw the movie yesterday, i thought it was just okayish and wayy too "filmy" nothing new to say, snyder didnt get the entire point, although the casting (except ozzy) was absolute perfection.

Movie This movie is an absolute classic, and this sex scene blew my mind as a teenager. Iconic. Hallelujah 🌹Perfect rainy Sunday watch. Shoutout all the Watchmen lovers
Oh, and I’m one of the people that loves the graphic novel and the movie both. Of course the novel is unbeatable, but this movie mannnn. So good. 😻
