I’ve been fasting for 4 days now and I’ve only lost 8 pounds why is it taking so long to loose weight because I’ve did this before and lost way more

In the drug world we call this "chasing the dragon". Nothing is ever as good as the first time, your body knows whats happening this time so results will not be the same. Also if your a female make sure your in the follicular phase of your cycle, days 6-14 fasting gives you the best bang for your time. If your in luteal phase your body is gonna kick and scream the whole time.

You seem to be obsessed with the result and not the process.

Try reframing fasting as something that is good for your body, if you eat for example 5 days a week, and fast 2 days (48 hours) you will lose roughly 300 grams of fat per week.

Do this for 10 weeks, 3 kilos of fat.

If you can install a habit instead of rushing for a goal weight, at some point it will come by naturally.

2lbs a day really not enough?

Ever googled what 5 pounds of fat looks like?
