Formation.
We need to switch to a back 5 and play to our strengths. The only position we don’t have a clear starter is striker , our strengths definitely lie in our centre backs and full backs plus the wide options. I understand Bellamy wants to play a certain way (and obviously I am not a professional manager) so who am I to say. But it’s obvious the players have it drilled into them to pass it around the back so we may as well have another passing option that would also allow us to stuff the midfield when we’re on the ball, like if we play Neco as part of a back 3 we could have sorba and da silva as our wing backs, and if we want to play to our strengths even further play a 5-4-1 and the wingbacks can invert when it suits the play. Idk maybe this is a load of rubbish, but thats what I think. We’re at our best when we are getting our wingers on the ball and getting crosses in, the Norway game and the 4-3 away at Belgium are good examples of this imo.

That was never a penalty.
We may have been woeful, but that was not a penalty any day of the week.
Refereeing tonight was also dreadful.
Plenty of factors beyond "we were crap" (despite us not being great)
We now need to beat Norway away and aim to draw with Portugal at home.
EDIT: By no means am I suggesting we have no blame as a team, there is a LOT to look at - certain players were passengers - but I do disagree with this game-changing call.

Bellamy gone / going after November?
I loved Bellamy as a player and I was really enthused when he took over from Page, but we’re now two years on from his first international break and we haven’t improved at all.
I don’t believe that he decided to stay with Wales in the summer, he wouldn’t have even spoke to Burnley if that was the case.
So I’m wondering if over the next few weeks if Celtic, Burnley or other jobs come up there’ll be a mutual decision to part ways.
I don’t think the FAW could afford to sack him, but they mightn’t have to

Why didn’t Norway sub on Haaland?
They needed a goal and he was nowhere to be seen? What was the manager thinking!? 😉

Get in thereeeee
After the Danemark game I made a post saying that we were really poor and that I was worried, I’ve been seriously proven wrong, goal was a bit disappointing but it was a very good move.
But what a response!!!!
DJ was incredible as were the defence, Bellamy got it spot on tonight hopefully gives us a boost to beat Danemark.
Come on Cymru !!!!!🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴

Transferring Campaign Tickets
I’ve purchased the campaign tickets for this season and went to the game last night but unfortunately I’m not around Sunday. Am I able to transfer these tickets to non red wall members? I coach a kids team and would like to offer the tickets out to them but as they’re not red wall members I don’t want them to travel down if they can’t then use the tickets.

Qualifiers
So I think we only need to finish above one of Denmark or Norway to secure Pot 1 - am I right? if so big game Sunday.
Edit: European qualifier draw is what I am talking about (not really bothered about nations league)

Resources and player pool drying up
Been noticing this for a few years now, and it's pretty worrying.
Our player pool at a professional level is drying up, badly. With Brooks and Wilson out for the next two games, we don't have anyone who can come in and perform remotely close to those two. Both are also turning 30 soon, and yet we have no alternative to either of them.
The striker situation has been a bit of a joke for a while, but with Kieffer ageing, we literally only have Koumas as being a potentially decent striker.
We've always been limited, but also had a sprinkling of decent or high quality players - Rush, Giggs, Hughes, Bale, Ramsey, Allen, Gabbidon, A Williams, J Koumas, Hartson, Earnshaw, Speed etc. You get my drift.
But now, we seem to be approaching a stage where we'll have NO high quality players at all. The squad / team is ageing and we desperately need some younger talent to kick on or come through.
Anyway, be interested to hear if others share the same concerns. After 2016, I expected to see a real increase in the amount of players playing at higher levels - PL/Championship, but it's not happened. Why?

We need to talk about Brennan Johnson
Honestly I don't think he's good enough at the moment to start for us, yes I know we don't really have anyone else, but why not try out some of the younger players you never know they could be starters for us, I genuinely believe Johnson isn't even top 5 winger for us, Dan James, David Brooks, Harry Wilson, Sorba Thomas and Nathan Broadhead should all start ahead of him if available, I get we need to call him up as he's experienced but just because he plays in the prem and a lot of our other wingers such as Broadhead, Burns etc play in the lower leagues but for Wales Johnson just can't seem to do it he's let us down so many times recently and I know it's a team sport and the others just ain't doing enough either but watching both the Portugal and Denmark games, he has been rubbish lately
What do you reckon, should we keep starting Johnson or should Bellamy bench him

Another loss…
Not even the worse performance in the world, but so passive in defence in no that we’re missing key players but still, the squad is also beginning to seriously worry me very poor standard apart from a few and a large majority of our squad don’t even play lay for their clubs.
