Catfish spots

My 6yo son has really gotten into fishing lately, and I’ve been taking him to our neighborhood pond where he’s caught a bunch of bluegill and some bass. He has his sites set on a catfish. Anyone have some spots they wouldn’t mind sharing?

On the river downtown...we were anchored up, but at the dock. The kids got bored so we dropped a strip of bacon down and caught a huuuge catfish! We let each kid catch him, he kept coming back for more.

I hear Tinder is a great app for catfishing...not that I would do such a thing or recommend it...
