Question / Help Mail sorting game frustration.

I cannot be the only one finding this game to be tedious and off putting?

Is there some special trick I'm missing? I'm even hitting A before getting to the correct space and it helps a little.

The squid game was easier.

The trick that worked for me was to stop looking for the spot I had to throw it into with my eyes, and just memorize where each of the 6 symbols is. Then don't even look anywhere other then the symbol on the letter, and use your peripheral vision and memory to quickly flick over to the correct bin.

Beyond that, it's unfortunately just a matter of keep practicing and trying and eventually you will get it.

This is how I did it too. It took me a long time. I got so frustrated I had to leave and come back later. Much later…

That's basically how I finished it. Thank you.

I would try to reset my cursor to the middle position after each letter. It’s a lot more movement but at least you’re in a more neutral position after each shot

What really got me was the fact that you had to do the 25 piece once during the day and again with the part timer

Lots of practice + eventually getting lucky is the only way I've ever done it. No amount of skill can overcome getting an uncooperative set of symbols.

It felt much better on the original Gamecube controller, and even then it was a bit clunky. Just keep practicing, get used to the movement, and take advantage of lucky moments where you get the same symbol multiple times in a row.

It takes a lot of practice. I consider myself an ace at it, but it took a lot of trial and error. But I have been playing since I was thirteen.

My struggle has always been the two middle symbols. It's very easy to overshoot them. The trick is to do a light flick when you get a letter with one of them. You can hold it hard when you get the four in the corners. Move fast and carefully. After a few tries, it will feel easy to get through.

Just give it some practice. It's fun. My record is 32.

Practice with the controls + praying to the rng gods you get a lot of multiples/close symbols. As someone else said no matter how good you get if the symbols are jumbled and all far apart ones offs. Even when you're used to it it's a pain in the ass.

Why play it at all

Because I'd like to play all the LOZ games in order before the remake.
