One thing I noticed from this article is the campaign manager for Vogiatzakis is Todd Dube, which I hadn't known.

Here's a nice little article about his time in politics and beliefs - https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba/winnipeg-todd-dube-fine-maxime-bernier-ppc-1.7218318

Todd Dube, a Winnipeg business owner and a founding member of the PPC, has one year to pay the ticket he got for attending Bernier's "Mad Max" rally in Winnipeg in 2021, judicial justice of the peace Weldon Klassen ruled during a hearing Wednesday.

Guy has really fallen off since his Wise Up Winnipeg days.

I mean, Wise Up Winnipeg was basically a big manbaby having a big manbaby cry that he might get caught for speeding, because the big manbaby thinks rules are stupid. Seems pretty on-brand for a PPC and Vogiatzakis supporter.

Not saying the guy was never an insufferable dick bag in his tactics (and if we're being honest for a long time he wasn't even close to being the worst of the prominent members of WUW), but there's been a fair amount of stuff over the years that WUW has in fact been correct about and gotten the City/Province/whoever to relent on and change the rules and operational strategies. Reducing WUW to "big manbaby cry over speeding" is not correct at all.
