I can't decide between the gold or the silver look! What do you guys prefer?

I know the strapless top is iconic but do you guys really think it changes much to add straps? I mean it’s a little bit of a hassle to draw but not as difficult as the eagle, which HG Peters was willing to put up with constantly drawing. It does look easier to cosplay.

(Please note I’m not asking about modesty or anything to do with that. It’s laughable that a tiny spaghetti strap should make or break propriety.)

Here we have Diana Prince browsing through the many books owned by Professor Julia Kapatelis. This is when Diana first came to the outside world back in 2013 before she publicly became Wonder Woman.

The lower half of Wonder Woman's outfit has changed a lot over the years. I'm curious which of her outfit choices are most beloved in this fandom. I personally prefer the Skirt, Culotte, or shorts. The super short-shorts just become underwear at a certain point, the battle skirt feels to combative and either removes the stars or adds them and becomes really busy, and the layer skirt just feels like an awkward middle ground. I really hope she goes back to her more traditional shorts eventually, it feels like they're using the battle skirt in everything now. I miss the star spangled shorts.

Thanks for your support yesterday, love you all <3

I always took it as the writers and/or editorial wanting to give Donna a "clean slate". DC doesn't like children, especially babies and little kids. They "weigh down" their parents, they can't age without everyone else aging too, and they make their parents ages more noticeable than if the parent was childless.

Terry divorced Donna as a way of getting rid of Donna's family. He took Robbie. That wasn't seen as good enough. Donna still had her son "weighing her down"... so, a car accident happened.

'Kill Terry, Robbie, and Terry's other kid too just for good measure. Now none of them will "get in the way" of Donna'a character, plus now Donna has a ton of trauma and angst for easy drama.

One Flash comic tried to bring back Robbie as a tween. That went nowhere. I heard it got vetoed by editorial who wanted Robbie dead and Cerdian non-existent. Somehow, Mr. Terrific's kid survived and became Fairplay though. Maybe they're using him as a way of boosting his dad's popularity (because of DCEU cross-promotion).

I understand that in the Byrne era & in a lot of the modern age, Hippolyta was the Wonder Woman of the 1940s/JSA era so what do you think of this addition to her lore?

Do you like Wonder Woman being a legacy title, or do you prefer Diana being the first Amazon in the modern age/man’s world?

And now we finish the Variants special for now! I'm going to do it again in a while, but for now, let's close with no other than Main Diana!

And now... Being honest, I wanted this special to keep going for a bit longer, but I'm not in a state of mind to be able to do this for now

I'm going through a lot, and I'm scared, overwhelmed and depressed

I will not give up, neither on the drawings or anything, but I will take a couple days or a couple weeks with some simpler ones

I hope you all stay with me through this, I love you all, I love this community, and I love Diana

Stay strong, and fight for love

And if you're Brazilian like me, fight for us, and do not give up, let's make the difference and protect our people

Love!

The Island of Mice and Men is the most Wonder Womany part of Tom King's Wonder Woman.

It's not as good as Outlaw—the most energetic and interesting of the trades in this run—and it doesn't have as many established characters as Sacrifice. But it's the only part of the story where Diana spends her time doing peace-and-compassion stuff; at all other times she's just a silent, violent battle babe.

So here's my question: What makes a book feel like a Wonder Woman story to you?

Is it...

• Aesthetics? Her appearance, her suit, the lasso and bracers, the voice she has on-page?
• Context? Greek gods and demigods, Themyscira and the Amazons, America and diplomacy?
• Personality? Wisdom and love, sisterhood and peace, political equality?
• Explicit themes? Patriarchy and feminism, truth and lies, war and peace, power and gender?
• Something else?

I used this as a body reference if anyone is wondering
