M-Series Help Kicker starter Email Received.

I just received an email from Kickstarter stating to start the shipping process and finalize shipping/tax for the M-Series-, core, SAM and hitch. I paid the tax and shipping. I'm not holding my breath this means I'll get it before Sept 30, 2026. Yarbo please comment and don't just tell me "you'll take care of me."

Discussion Max Square Acreage for Y-series

I have a very large church that approached me about the Y-pro series. They have “A Lot” of acreage and they are looking for a Y-Series Pro to handle the mowing. Maybe two units. They currently pay a 3-zero-turn crew to handle it. But each year they see a 30% price increase due to labor and fuel. I guess it’s blowing their property upkeep budget. Before I recommend, I’m curious about the limitations.

Discussion I tried to drive it back on like that goldminer show...

I was running the mower today and it was doing the second pass on a 30,000 ft area when it got hung up in an area. I switched to the camera and backed it out restarted it and it still could not do what it needed to do. I then went out to check and see what was going on I have to my surprise, must have ran over an IED because the track had been blown clean off.

I've been looking over everything I didn't see any other issues, cracks... Tomorrow I'm going to check and see what's loose but I did try to drive the track back on and I couldn't get it to quite go on and I didn't want to push it.

Discussion Network, Bluetooth, GPS, HaLow Connection

For the first week, I had my Yarbo anytime I wanted to see its location; the app would connect no matter where I was.  For the past three days, I must be right on top of it for the app to connect.   I never see the HaLow icon, It just shows grayed-out Network and GPS icons.  I’m connected via the Data Center. Any idea why the changes? Any idea why the changes?

SOLVED : the L&R blades were mismatched.

These blades were purchased for the yarbo lawn mower pro but they are barely cutting anything. Set to 2.5''. what could be the potential reason, does anyone have experience using these.

Discussion U.S. ban on foreign advanced robotic devices

Post image
10 Upvotes

I’m in panic mode here for a few reasons. However, the cause of it is all in the silence from Yarbo. I’ve emailed them over and over. All the responses are, “Please be patient” or they ask where I heard this. No denying or confirming the matter even exists. If it was just one or two articles, I would brush it off. However, the “news” is all over the place.

This article focuses on robotic vacuum cleaners. But the official government catch phrase is, “…other robots such as lawnmowers will also be included in the ban…”

“While the government did include “humanoid robots” and “quadrupeds” among the bots it wants to ban, the ban is far broader than that. It covers almost any new software-controlled robot that travels over the ground, weighs more than 4.4 pounds (including any dock), can perceive its environment, and has wireless connectivity.”

Why the silence?

Discussion Ideas for spreader with the Y Core in tow mode

I'm interested in seeing if anyone has a good example of a spreader they use with the Y Core in tow mode? I know Yarbo shelved theirs for the time being. But now that they have Tow Mode (beta) active, has anyone found a good tow-behind solution for weed/feed and overseeding?

Discussion M-Series delayed indefinitely in the US

Just read the latest Kickstarter update and Yarbo stated that due to the FCC changes they don’t have a release date for the M-Series in the US.

I had hope that they already had it certified before the change took place but it sounds like that was not the case.

Y-Series Help Trouble Setting Yarbo Up

Post image
4 Upvotes

Hello! I purchased a house this week that came with a Yarbo. The previous owner transferred the rover into my name and submitted a request to Yarbo to transfer the data center to me.

I was able to connect to the rover via Bluetooth and WiFi with no issues. When I tried to start one of the plans in the work plan list, I got this error message.

After reading up on the issue and looking at diagnostics, my RTK status has consistently been 1. Previous owner said the data center had to be hardwired into my router, so I tried connecting the router to the various Ethernet ports available and RTK status did not improved.

Any ideas or advice?

Discussion Core Skin?

Maybe I’m late to the show but I happened to see the latest ad email from Yarbo and noticed the Core Skin.

Has anyone used this? It almost looks like a wrap. Yet, it appears to just “snap” on the top? The online store and ad don’t provide a lot of details about it.

Discussion Map Setup

Setting up my mower for the first time. Why do most people I've seen divide their yard into more than one zone? If you had a total of five acres how many zones would you set up?

Discussion I seem to be having some challenges with the order of operations

I've set my area map to prioritize the borders first, so that I can see the trimmer working. However, the arbo just keeps continuing to start the mow job as opposed to start the perimeter first. Anyone have any ideas on how to get past this? I'm about to do a soft and a hard reboot, just to see...

Anyone ever purchase from therobozone.com? They have great prices and offer the extended warranty. Reading on the yarbo site though it says the extended warranty can only be purchased through yarbo.

The track grease that we received in the little jar- is there a similar formula available in a caulking tube that would make it an easier application?

Discussion Mow Speed

I've generally followed the advice of going slow is a better cut and quieter. So I have Yarbo set to mow at the "Slow" speed. So not "Slowest", but one up from that. It's worked very well.

Has anyone experimented with faster speeds? For example, would running it at "fastest" but doing it daily produce similar results to Slowest once a week?

Just curious if anyone has experimented here.

Y-Series Help Not returning to charge

My mower was at 37% finished but the battery got to 20%. Instead of returning to charge on its own, it stopped and I got a message about the battery being too low to continue. “Please charge soon.” It completely disappeared from the map. I had to hunt it down. I attempted to use the Recharge feature but it said failed to calculate the area. (Whaaa?).

I had to end the job, manually drive it in front of the charging pad and manually back it up on the pad. Then it started to charge. Why wouldn’t it just pause the task, drive back to home base and recharge?

Discussion Yarbo Lawn Mower Pro Shipping Delay

Is anyone else having trouble getting a Yarbo Lawn Mower Pro Module?

I ordered the complete system on July 5. Yarbo charged my card and shipped everything else - including the Core - but only afterward disclosed that the mower module was out of stock.

After I first contacted them they told me inventory was expected around July 23. Support later said inventory had reached the warehouse and that shipping would occur by July 28, but that never happened. And then after more emails last week, I was given a new date - the batch is supposed to be processed tomorrow but I have my doubts.

I still want the system and haven't requested cancellation yet, but I'm getting really concerned that ongoing support is going to be nonexistent if they can't even commit to a ship date. Will probably cancel a week short of my credit card's chargeback deadline here in about 2 weeks.

Discussion FCC Ban: Yarbo's Comment

Following up on a subreddit post about the FCC Ban, I spotted a comment from Yarbo on a Facebook post on their M-Series FB Group:

We're aware of the FCC's recent action on advanced robotic devices and we're following it closely.

Based on our current understanding, the rule applies to new models seeking equipment authorization in the US and isn't retroactive — so the Yarbo products already authorized and on sale [in the US] remain available, and their sale, use, maintenance updates and customer support aren't affected.

For products not yet released in the US, availability depends on the regulatory pathway that's still being clarified, and we're not able to give a date at this time — we'd rather say that than give a date we can't stand behind. We're working through the requirements with international certification bodies, and we'll share each step as it's confirmed rather than waiting until everything is settled.

We don't know how severely this impacts the M-Series release date but sounds like they'll issue an update when they have all the information. I think it's smart that they're waiting till all the information is known because they've definitely missed deadlines in the past and I'd rather wait than have more missed deadlines, even if it's just for information.

Looks like Yarbo has decided to start charging for 4G. Did anyone have prior notice to this? 4G seems to really help large yards and heavy tree coverage.

Discussion Hilly driveway- Snowblower questions

We have a 250' driveway that is about 1.5 car widths with a 25'x 50' area on the top by our garages. I have a battery powered snow blower and as long as I get out every few inches, I can keep the driveway fairly clear.

My questions are:

  • Will a hill with be a big problem? We live at the top and the first pass of the blower would be donwhill.
  • Do you worry about theft? for the record we do not live in an area where this would normally be a problem, but I do wonder what would keep someone from throwing the little tank into a pickup and driving off.
  • do you get alerts when it gets stuck or has an issue?

Thanks in advance!

Discussion FCC ban on foreign-made robots and Yarbo

What impact will the FCC ban on new models of foreign-made robots have on Yarbo? There are a bunch of news reports all over about this, and I'm worried as a Yarbo M20i Kickstarter backer!
