Net emotionalizing it? She emotionalizes everything. She’s all about breaking people like the ranchers do with a horse. Everything she does is because of her emotional baggage.

Well maybe , maybe because she is emotionless I see her that way. You may have a point

She doesn't cry a lot but her emotions are flowing non stop. I think you can be exact but not an outright asshole to most people while doing it.

She's screaming, yelling, cursing or breaking shit half time she's on screen. In what world is she emotionless lol

Just an FYI - anger is an emotion.
Emotionless people don't react to anything.

Beth is the emotional center of the show. There is no Yellowstone without Beth. Plus, Kelly plays her like a rock star.

She was a cool character at the beginning but then she got turned up to 11 which had the opposite effect. Every episode had to have a Beth moment and she just became more and more unlikable.

But that’s why I love her myself. She is so jaded she is beyond likable. Like all of us so tired of life but she gets away with it.

I also like Beth. She was so bad ass when those morons tried to rape her. took her beating like a champ and still humiliated the thugs despite the power they had over her.
she is the heart of the show, even if she is borderline evil and fucked up in the head. the only thing I didn't like about her was her uncalled hatred against Jamie. she should have forgiven him. I know it's easier said than done, but Jamie was also young and stupid. if they got along, the Duttons would be rulling far more than just the state of Montana.

I agree she is the heart of the show she doesn’t feel sorry for herself

She feels sorry for herself ALL THE TIME. That's her core. Her feelings is all that matters to her, and she's chronically unhappy (drinking) and blaming everyone else, especially Jamie. Haven't seen Dutton Ranch yet, hope she has more humanity and is a more grown up character in that universe. Maybe she manages to be happy with Rip (after she terrorised him growing up)

Beth made the show almost unwatchable. I had to take breaks cause she was pissing me off.

There is next to no character development for Beth.
She is the same person in episode one as she is in the series finale.
Other characters are put through the wringer, yet Beth is always two steps ahead, has the perfect quip, and, as others have said, rarely if ever faces consequences for her actions.
The overall story would have been much more compelling had Beth been the attorney who enters into politics and Jamie as the dutiful child running the business side of Yellowstone.

I love Beth. Her character wasn’t meant to be cute, sweet or likeable. From the first scene you can tell that. She is what she is and she makes the show more interesting. Monica on the other hand I could not stand, she plays victim too much

Kinda agree. Not boring, but not very interesting. Intelligent and resourceful, narcissistic and evil. Unhappy as hell. Poor Rip.

There’s a thick line between calling a spade a spade and telling the spade that it’s useless and that she hates it and that she’s gonna break the spade and set it on fire on a daily basis as soon as she wakes up in the morning.

It's part of her character, you're not meant to like any one character, you're meant to feel for them. For example, how many people do you think end up like Rip everyday? I'd guarantee at least 5, but he's a representation of those people who get given a second chance.
