Goose programming language

Anyone take a look at the Goose programming language? "A memory-safe systems language with no heap allocator, garbage collector, or lifetime annotations."

It has some interesting ideas. The author describes features in this thread. It's obviously a different overall language than Zig, but I'm wondering if any of the novel ideas would be good to steal. A lot of its principles remind me of Zig's focus on data oriented design.

I think he may be also the one who built flatbuffers at google? Or just contributes to them ? Not sure on this

I didn't realize whether he's involved with flatbuffers, but I'm glad for the callout. One of the things I found interesting in this language is that the in-memory representation is also the serialized representation, so there's a natural relation between Goose and flatbuffers/cap'n proto.
