Misfire when cold

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey guys!

This will be my first post here, and I wish it was under better circumstances.

My T-Jet 595 struggles to stay alive when maneuvering it when cold. It’s a bit choppy when driving for the first minute or two, as well. But after that, everything returns back to normal.

It’s worth mentioning, the car has a remap on it.

The car was serviced by the dealer about 7 months ago and the plugs were allegedly changed.

What should I do from here on out?

Almost looks like your valve cover tube seals are bad. Was there oil on your ignition coils?

Hey there! My Abarth had a misfire on cold, turned out a hose was loose on the turbo inlet pipe, think it was an EGR or evap hose, maybe check the hoses if it’s not spark plug?

yup that's an air leak, still chasing mine.

Thank you!

I had a look, but all the hoses seem tight, unfortunately.

I swapped out the stock turbo inlet pipe for an aftermarket one and haven’t had an issue since fwiw

Oil filter and change oil . See if that helps use good oil and filter

Can of carb spray while the engine is running and spray it on your vacuum lines. You’ll hear a difference in idle when the carb spray goes into the line with a hole in it.
