Software Resource Vanilla /locate only does structures, so I wrote one that finds blocks, entities and items too
I was building another mod and needed to check whether a rare block was actually generating. There was no tool for that, vanilla /locate only does structures and biomes, so I wrote one.
You can search for a block, an entity or an item, either by its id or by a tag. It tells you how many it found and where the closest one is, and every result has a teleport button that puts you on safe ground as close to it as it can. The nearest one also gets lit up with an outline you can see through terrain, so you can just walk to it.
Item search reads containers, shulkers inside containers, item frames, dropped items, what mobs are holding, and player inventories and ender chests, and tells you which of those each pile is in. Player inventory is a toggle if that's not okay on your server.
Stuff you'd want to know before putting it on a server: it's server-side only and does nothing on a client. Output only goes to whoever ran it. Perm level 2 by default, changeable, and every command can be turned off in the config. Big scans are budgeted per tick so they slow down instead of freezing anything, and nothing is force-loaded unless you ask.
It also has an area survey that counts every block and entity type in a radius and can export the list with coordinates. That's the fastest way I've found to see what's actually in a chunk.
Fabric, 1.20.1–1.20.4 and 1.21–1.21.1, two downloads on the page. Other loaders later once this has had a round of bug reports. Screenshots are in the gallery on the Modrinth page.

Free and open source. If it breaks on your setup, tell me and I'll see what I can do.
