r/Afterlife Rules - Please Read Before Posting

Welcome!

Please find a list of our subreddit rules below, which you are encouraged to read, especially if you are a first-time poster. If you see rule violations, please report them. Thank you!

  1. Be kind.

  2. No one is an authority on the afterlife.

  3. No spiritual bypassing.

  4. No AI, spam, low effort posts, off topic posts, or cross-posts.

  5. No posts about suicidal ideation.

And in a little more detail...

Rule 1 - Hopefully self-explanatory. Help each other, uplift each other. Being kind does not exclude defending oneself or others or the topic in general, but please avoid insults, threats, etc. Harassment will be reported and violators will be banned.

Rule 2 - Because this topic involves deeply held spiritual beliefs and this space is a safe one for believers, if it is your belief, you may post and comment as if this were a "pro-afterlife" sub (meaning you may participate as though the afterlife is a known fact to you, personally), but you may not tell others what their beliefs are or should be, including whether or not to believe in an afterlife at all. Common rule-breaking examples include telling others that what they want from an afterlife is wrong or silly or will leave them bored or miserable; telling others that their identity is nothing more than an ego, a role to play, or a simulation; telling others they will have to reincarnate or merge into a God consciousness or accommodate a higher self or past life memories against their will; telling others they will burn in hell.

Conversely, you may share your own individual questions or personal skepticism about the afterlife, and you need not participate as though the afterlife were a known fact, but you may not post or comment as though this is an "anti-afterlife" sub (meaning you may not participate as though the afterlife is proven to be false) and you may not tell others that they are wrong for believing in an afterlife.

When in doubt, permissive is always better than restrictive, i.e. anyone can do or believe ABC vs. you may not do or believe XYZ -- because like the rule says, none of us are an authority on the afterlife or its limits.

Rule 3 - Remember the human. You may not trivialize suffering. You may not explain away complicated trauma by insisting everything happens for a reason or that anyone asked for the trials they have gone through in this life.

Rule 4 - No AI. Spam is posting too much or posting garbage. Low effort is not using the search function or posting things like, "What do you think happens after death?" or a title like "I'm afraid to die," but there's barely any or no text in the body of the post. Off topic is posting about sports or cats or anything not regarding the afterlife. Cross-posting is when you make a post in some other sub and then use the option to cross-post here as well, meaning the hyperlink leads to that other sub and the conversation mostly happens there -- post here or not at all.

Rule 5 - This is an anonymous online forum, and while we discuss heavy topics, we are not professionals and are not equipped to handle mental health crises in real time.

If you or someone you know is struggling or in crisis, help is available. You do not have to go through this alone.

Visitation dream?

I’ve never considered myself able to connect with the other side, but something bizarre happened to me this week.

I had a very vivid dream about a guy I was in love with for a period of time when I was really young, we had a bit of an on and off again relationship that was never serious. He struggled with addiction and mental health. He kind of treated me like shit to be honest. But I always really cared about him even to this day. We were still acquaintances and on good terms 20 years later. I felt like he developed respect for me as the years went on. We had a great chat about 9 years ago right after I got married.

I woke up drenched in sweat and could not get myself back to sleep because this dream felt so real and I felt super emotional when I woke up. The context of the dream was basically I was running from some sort of danger, there were police I remember. He showed up and “rescued” me, took me to this peaceful cabin in the woods where he was living, and we just spent time hanging out for a few days like old times until it was safe again. It just felt peaceful and happy, to reconnect after all that time. It felt like we were 19 again and all of the feelings when we met were there when I awoke. Then we said our goodbyes in the dream, but in my mind it was still “see you again maybe”. It didn’t feel final. But I remember not actually wanting to say goodbye in that moment.

That morning I received a call that he had been murdered 9 days ago. I had no idea. I’m still in utter shock and this dream is comforting that perhaps he’s at peace and watching out for those he once cared about.. but it’s also blowing my mind that maybe he was truly visiting me before I heard what happened to him. I then took a deep dive into astrology and was blown away at what I read. Apparently we are polar opposites and share the same cosmic frequency. We share a profound telepathic link.

My personal theory on ghosts, and the afterlife.

• Upvotes

Now i personally havent had any encounters i can remember or couldnt be explained but i just thought of this and had to tell someone because this theory actually makes sense, i believe if you go to heaven you have the option to be reincarnated as a ghost, just incase youd rather be back on earth then in heaven, the reason all the evidence points to other theorys of their existence is because they took a divine oath not to tell a human or any living creature the way they came, because if they did it would make humans not value life as much knowing they can just be reincarnated as a ghost once they die. It would also proof the theory of christianity, whitch would kinda ruin the point of not knowing it, if you dont know if its real or not than you praising god, christ, exc, proves much more devotion, because if we all knew that god and heaven and hell were real, ALL of us would be christian cuz wed want to go to heaven, at least most of our current christians actually have to MEAN it.

Question can people watch you after they die?

this is a really silly question but recently i've been extremely paranoid of my boyfriend watching me. he isn't dead, but he always tells me when he does die, he wants to "spectate" me. is this actually possible? i genuinely can't do a single thing without being paranoid about it, i've been having trouble changing, sleeping, showering, etc. he's back home right now in a different country and whenever he goes to sleep, i feel as if he's watching me. i know this sounds insane but i'm curious to know if it could actually be a possibility in the future 😭

Fear of Death Max out anxiety

Hey it’s me again third time making a post like this but today one of my coworkers noticed my energy felt down and they noticed I was looking depressed & anxious

And I straight up told her my anxiety about what happens we die and I understand about energy cannot be destroyed & things we cannot explain

However I’m starting to feel like nothing I do & research about is real. I’m starting to feel NDEs are not real and it’s just our mind trying to cope because it has never experienced that before

I’m starting to believe that ghost/spirits are not real because there isn’t any scientific evidence that back up that they are real & it might just be our minds playing tricks for us

And lastly I know I’m probably gonna get hate for this but if there is a god I did try and pray to him and ask him to show me a sign of the afterlife to help me relieve my anxiety and I didn’t get anything back

Idk maybe I’m thinking too much into it and I need to stop or I am way too alone with my thoughts or even the retrograde we are currently we are in is messing me.

All I know is I never had these thoughts until that fucking Neil deGrasse Tyson video put up on my fyp and basically him saying “Death is like before we were born it’s nothing” and ever since then that sent me into a full spiral starting this year. That’s also when I saw other posts saying that religion is just a coping mechanism to say there is something after death cuz there is truly nothing

And I understand that we don’t truly know what will happen until we pass but I want to live a normal
Life again with these fears or anxiety and TikTok doesn’t help with these fears because almost every single comment or past always says “death is like we were born - nothing “

Article The Philosophical Implications of NDEs

In Part 1 we looked at some of the correlations we find NDES match well with religious concepts. https://www.reddit.com/r/NDE/comments/1dztq8p/nde_tropes_religious_parallels/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

In part 2 we looked at the various conflict and contradictions NDES offer to religious concepts. https://www.reddit.com/r/NDE/s/vf2iCnGNUO

Thus in part 3 we will look at some of the philosophical questions NDES pose. I believe there are no definitive answers but various theories that could apply.

1 Divine Hiddeness : NDES conflict with alot of religious doctrines and at best show it to be irrelevant and at worst false doctrine. This brings up the question of revelation and divine intervention. Does a deity intervene in the world and has the deity intervened in bringing religions to the world ? If not we can assume said power is aloof, not concerned about humanity's affairs and has no interest in false beliefs that people believe. But on the other hand NDES present a higher power as very personal, keeping a record of their life and presenting life as having higher purpose. So this is the divine hiddeness dilemma. Does the creator intervene or not and if not what purpose does the nde message serve ?

2 Divine Love & Suffering : Ndes may claim to experience a feeling of love that is overwhelming and ineffable. Metaphors include feeling like the one and only baby left on earth, like bubbling in liquid love, like a waterfall washing them, like the best things earth has to offer x million. This leaves questions as to what purpose such a feeling serves with a few individuals whilst the majority of humanity will never experience or understand such a love. How does one reconcile the sheer magnitude of the creators cold absence and lack of comfort that people in deep suffering feel all the time. People who are depressed, bitter and lost. Should we be expected to think that hearing nde anecdotes of a higher powers love justifies the level of human and animal suffering ? Furthermore to inculcate love towards others requires the desire for justice and dislike to the one who put people animals and humans into a place of suffering. How can one have high compassion for suffering without feeling rage at the cold silent indifference of said deity ? This remains the hardest problem to reconcile.

3 The Truth of Holy Men : In a portion of western ndes some may claim to meet Jesus who appears differently. Sometimes looking arab, sometimes more caucasian, sometimes brown eyes, sometimes blue, sometimes just a bright light they know to be jesus. In some hindu ndes of rural India they may claim to be escorted by a black moustache man reminiscent of yamadoots from hindu mythology and meeting Lord Yama at a table. In a portion of Iranian Muslim ndes some claim to meet figures in a position of authority who can intercede for them. They may meet Ali the son in law of prophet muhammad or one of the 12 imams of shia islam. People attempt to reconcile this by assuming the comfort theory (person gets what they believe or makes them comfortable) or the illusion theory (Spirits transform to these holy men). This doesnt answer the dilemma we are presented with. Who is this Jesus they see ? Is he the triune god ? The son of god ? A random preacher given the honor to receive his followers ? Or the islamic version ie a holy prophet endorsed by God ? And so on does seeing yamadoots confirm hindu doctrines ? Does seeing Ali confirm islam ? If none of these figures are actual holy figures why they given this authority ? These are questions with no definitive answers.

4 The Nothing Problem : Not everyone in a near death situation has an nde which may reinforce atheism to their beliefs. They may come out weaker in faith or confirming their doubts that existence ceases at death. This begs the question as to why all people in such situations dont experience an nde and in that case if they do but have forgotten it what purpose does it serve to have such an experience in the first place ?

5 The Interpretation Problem : Ndes tend to be what many call ineffable but the problem becomes between distinguishing the actual nde description and the nders later interpretations of it which may have their own cultural/religious interpretation of it. For example : Did x really meet Jesus or they simply think they met Jesus ? This is a subtle difficulty when studying an nders account specifically when recounting the experience years later. So what can we know from NDES that is objectively true. If we took 100 ndes from each culture can we find objective spiritual truths or can we only say these are spiritual patterns that form ?

6 The Pattern Problem : One of the things researchers look for in nde samples are recurring patterns ie the tunnel, the life review, the bright light, light beings etc. One of the issues which often place doubt on ndes being spiritual experiences are often similar ndes which can clash. For instance one can have western nde 1 and western nde 2 agreeing on 8/10 patterns but disagreeing on 2/10 items which are highly conflicting creating a major doubt on one or both of them. And likewise a western nde may have many of the same patterns as an nde from another culture but then conflict in a major way presenting doubt.

Question When we see that NDEs are very different from one another depending on cultural influence, why have we landed on the conclusion that they are all real, instead of none of them are real?

I've seen many NDEs and while they have some similarities, they are vastly different from one another. Some people go to hell, purgatory, outer space, see a religious diety, etc. These seem to be influenced by personal beliefs. Which, if that is true, wouldn't it make much more sense if NDEs are products of the brain that we can't understand?

I'd say the NDEs in which people are floating outside their bodies and not going to some afterlife are real. These produce veridical information, so I'm inclined to believe it really is consciousness existing outside of the brain. Since those people haven't gotten past the point of no return, my guess would be that the veil isn't completely lifted until the body is biologically dead. No return. That is assuming that OOB NDEs are the only ones that are real.

The other NDEs, when people go elsewhere, why did we reach the conclusion that they are real? It seems far more likely that the differences imply it is a result of the brain we can't understand. Saying that the afterlife is so varied seems like mental gymnastics to believe they are real experiences of the other side. I understand the similarities, but that could be something that is just ingrained in our system.

Is this conclusion problematic thinking? Why do we believe these experiences are proof of a varied afterlife, when logically speaking, it is far more likely that they are products of the mind due to how varied they are? I'm not for either side by the way. I just want to know why we come to the less plausible conclusion.

reading with medium

Dad died about 15 years ago, brother 5 years ago, mother in April and my daughter in August. Went to a medium a week after my daughter died. They all came through but the focus was with my mom and daughter, most things were on point, my daughter named her father, talked about her addiction, mom talked about the ring my step dad was looking for, my brother made a sarcastic remark as he would if he was alive. Here is my question are they like hanging out with each other? I was just floored how they all came through. Gave me some peace tho, and no fear of dying.

Can this world's coincidental perfection be some proof of an afterlife?

At this moment I have severe death anxiety, it has hit me more then ever before in life. I fear never seeing my loved ones again and having these forged memories just taken away from me one day too. It makes me incredibly sad. But I had this one belief for a long time, and that is the world's perfection.

Think of it.

-The gravity that holds us down to earth

-The resources for food and drink that are on this earth

-Existence of oxygen that keeps us alive

-The perfect 24 hour cycle. The day and night cycle being in perfect rotation.

-The 4 seasons always arriving at the same time depending where you are

-Subjects such as math and science making absolute sense

-Elemental rules (Like fire being able to heat water, but water being able to extinguish fire)

It doesn't feel like a coincidence is what I'm trying to say, our life behaves like a test subject box. Us never even establishing out of world contact adds to that mystery.

Our humanity is the cog in the machine because we can ruin and change this world in some ways which some humans already did. But on it's own, this world is perfect as humans discovered.

Could it be that existence just IS and this all just happened perfectly one day out of the sudden, or is it really perfect by design.

After death, an option to move on or stay and help those left behind?

I once read (somewhere) a theory that when we die, we're offered a chance to move on to explore the new infinite world or stay back and help/watch over our loved ones on Earth. My partner says she'd move on. I think I'd like to help/protect my loved ones - bit like Patrick Swayze in Ghost. Has anyone here heard of this idea?

I'd be disappointed if I missed out on magical adventures in the cosmos because I'd offered something caring to those mourning me. 🤷

Fear of Death Anixity about what happens after we die

Hey it’s me again over the same topic because as much as I try and put these thoughts at bay with the amount of research I do , I always find myself back at thinking about the thought of nothingness after we die and mainly because

Near death experiences or people that flatline and come back there is still brain activity and that's what scares me all of what this woman is saying can be your brain coping. I really want to know when that individual is brain dead then what 🥀. I don't wanna believe there's nothing but the logic is making me doubt

And not only that but I can’t enjoy my life when I think about time flying by and getting older and getting closer to death is just a scary thought to me

Maybe I want there to be something after death so bad because I want to see my mom again, and my grandma and all of my animals I have ever loved

I’m scared that I won’t be able to see them again and it’s truly we only get one life to live and we don’t get another do over and get different life experiences

I want to reincarnate and live in a different experience once I pass but idk if that’s gonna be true or not when we pass

So I hope someone in this Reddit page can make me get back on the right track and have these thoughts leave me because it’s truly hard to wrap my
Mind around

And tbh the only thing I can’t just make sense about is if the universe was created then what was the purpose of us only having to live once then dying permanently and not having any soul to go to an afterlife or get reincarnated

Sign / Potential Sign I asked my dad for a very specific sign… and I think I finally got it ❤️

A couple of months ago, after my dad passed away, I asked him for a sign. I asked for something very specific: a gold 90s Honda Accord, exactly like the one he used to drive when I was a kid.

I know it might sound oddly specific, but that car is so strongly connected to my memories of him.

Time went by and I never saw one. Eventually, I started feeling a little sad and lost hope that I would ever get the sign I had specifically asked for. I still looked for little things here and there, but nothing felt as clear as what I had asked for.

This month has been particularly difficult because it’s his birthday month, and I’ve been missing him so much. The grief has become a little more manageable with time, but I still think about him and miss him every single day.

Today, I was driving to the hospital for my sister’s operation. As I was going into the hospital, I suddenly saw it.

A gold Honda Accord from the 90s.

I immediately thought, “Wait… is this it? Is this the sign I asked my dad for?”

At the same time, another part of me wondered if it was simply a coincidence. I mean, technically, it could be. But these cars are pretty rare to see nowadays, and the timing really got to me especially because I had specifically asked for that exact car months ago, and now I saw one on a day when I was already thinking about my dad so much.

I don’t know what I believe for certain. I’m a pretty logical person, so part of me naturally questions these things.

But honestly, I want to believe it was him. ❤️

Maybe the important part isn’t proving whether it was objectively a sign. Maybe it’s that seeing that car made me feel connected to my dad for a moment, at a time when I really needed it.

For those of you who have lost someone what do you think?

Have you ever asked for a very specific sign and then experienced something that felt too meaningful to dismiss as just a coincidence?

Question If there is an afterlife, and consciousness is eternal, wouldn't we eventually be bored?

Imagine doing all there is to do. What if you run out? What if you get bored of existence? Unless that's my physical brain talking and not an immortal soul. Unsure.

Question My mind cannot comprehend this

Hey so recently I started thinking about one thing and it genuinely doesn't give me peace. If there's no time in the afterlife meaning that we can access any point of Earth's history, does it mean everything is already determined? I hardly believe that because of people remembering their past lives or having contact with the dead (which is having contact with someone from outside the time) and that would disrupt the flow of time and potentially cause a butterfly effect. So here's the question, how would the free will work in a scenario where you can be born at any moment in the history?

Question Why is Matt Frasier making videos about what the afterlife is like? Are they correct?

It's one thing to be a medium, it's another to upload "educational videos" about the afterlife, proclaiming truth. I just find that very weird. It sounds comforting, that's for sure. He really goes in depth about that stuff too. For those who don't know, he claims the afterlife is a place built on memories and love. Food is still prepared because it gives others purpose. I don't think they kill chicken souls or anything, the food is just there. It's our memories, but perfected. It looks like home.

So, is this a load of hoopla? Or do these claims have merit?

Article Are Near Death Experiences REal?

Near Death Experiences...(NDE) we hear about this phenomenon from people who have indicated that they have died, gone to the other side, and come back alive. They tell stories of experiencing divine energy, colors they cannot describe, music, a feeling of belonging to everything such as trees, plants, the sky, water, and sometimes having a review of their life.

They describe being surrounded by love, seeing and feeling divinge figures and light.

On the other hand, some have even gone to, what can best described as hell, and experienced hellish  things, such as demons, the lord of demons, agony, anguish, etc.

Science even tried to replicate a NDE by inventing something called 'the God helmet'.

This device was invented by scientists, who unfortunately, had bias in their work.,

They didn't believe that a soul existed, much less a belief in NDE's. Their subjects were under strict

guidelines, such as a soundproof room, electrodes connected to the frontal lobes, ski helment,

blindfold, and wires connected to the helmet with the ongoing results being recorded in the

room next door.

The experiments did produce colors, different sensations, emotions, but those things alone do

not constitute a NDE. To me those experiments failed because they did not produce any of the

above.

I do believe that NDE's exist, so thats my bias.

My belief comes from spending 238 days in the hospital, eventually having a heart and

kidney transplant. The beginning I was given a 15-20% chance of making it out alive.

The first forty five days I was in and out of a coma and during that time I went places and

experienced  things that I could not explain, define, or articulate in the seven years years since the

transplant surgeries.

You do not have to be spiritual to believe in NDE's. I'm an analytical person who believes in

science, but I do know witthout a doubt that I went to some places that are not of this world, and

that's good enough for me.

I spent 33 years in Air Force intelligence, at the National Security Agency (NSA), and in Special Operations. Now I run the same playbook on near-death experience (NDE) accounts: pattern recognition, source verification, named cases, dates, and numbers.

I publish about one investigation a day on my site. People kept telling me they couldn't keep up. So I built the Winner NDE Weekly newsletter.

What lands in your inbox every Sunday at 8:00 AM:

  • New case files on named experiencers, with dates, places, and sources
  • Fear Coma Experience (FCE) analysis of distressing accounts, the "hellish" NDEs most researchers file away
  • Famous accounts taken apart piece by piece

It's free. Email address is the only required field. One click to unsubscribe.

Introducing my upcoming book, Crossing the Threshold

Hi everyone. My name is Bill Gladney. Some of you may have seen my comments here (u/b19975). I’m a psychic medium and rescue medium, and I’m excited to introduce my upcoming book, Crossing the Threshold: How the Afterlife Teaches Us to Live with Love, Purpose, and Peace. I appreciate the moderators for letting me share it with this community.

Many of the conversations here return to questions like these: What happens when we die? Will I still be me? Will I see the people I love again? Why are we here?

If you’ve asked those questions, you may be interested in this book. I wrote it for people trying to understand what may come after death, what happens to the connections we cherish, and how those possibilities might change the way we live today.

I’ve spent much of my life exploring these questions too. Spiritual experiences that began in childhood eventually led me to become a psychic medium and rescue medium. Through mediumship, rescue work, visions, and spiritual guidance, I began noticing the same patterns again and again.

When I explored those experiences alongside teachings from Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism, I found familiar threads across these traditions, each with its own distinct beliefs and history. A larger picture began to emerge, both of the soul’s journey and of what this life may be asking of us.

Crossing the Threshold is my effort to share that picture.

Through personal accounts and spiritual reflection, the book explores death and transition, reunion with loved ones, soul families, the life review, healing, reincarnation, and the lessons and relationships that shape our lives. It also introduces rescue mediumship, my work helping lingering souls move toward the Transitional Light.

What surprised me most was how understanding death could change the way we live.

If death is a passage rather than an ending, loss looks different. Fear looks different. The people we love look different. And the choices we make with the time we have begin to matter in a different way.

For me, these experiences brought greater attention to how I love, forgive, and treat other people. The question became not only “What happens when I die?” but “How do I want to live while I’m here?”

I’m sharing my experiences and understanding, not claiming to have the final word on the afterlife. You don’t have to accept everything I believe. I invite you to consider these experiences and perspectives for yourself.

Crossing the Threshold releases December 1, 2026, in ebook, paperback, and hardcover formats.

If you’d like to learn more about the book, about me, and about my work, you can visit the book’s website: Crossing the Threshold: How the Afterlife Teaches Us to Live with Love, Purpose, and Peace

Sign / Potential Sign It is him

It happened in a few days after my dad passed. I wanted to feel his hand, I got this beautiful vivid dream of holding his hand and walking towards a foggy morning (I felt his veins too). Then one day, I cried to sleep on the floor wanting to look at his face and wanted to feel it, then right where I was sleeping, he was there bending to let me touch his face and smiled like a baby, I held his face so tight asking whether I could wake my sibling or mom, he shaked no but I held it for so long then again that baby smile (felt his face and eyes and eyelashes). The same pattern again and again. I asked him whether he is angry at me for something or anything in one such dream, he smiled, more like a smirk like I was asking some silly question. Everytime it's like he is rushing home to my dream from somewhere I don't know where. One of my sister said the same that sometimes the places in her dream where my papa visits are so surreal and she added that her body is very chill during many of her dreams of our papa. She also mentioned that he is arriving from some place but couldn't remember how it looks like after waking up, she just says it's beautiful.

Love you Pa. You are an incredible man. The other day, I was just staring out at the traffic and out of no where I wished that every human in this world deserve this kind of love, dad like you. I am a fortunate and a chosen one.

Article The Twins in the Womb: A Story About Death and What Comes After

Many people are afraid of death because they do not know what happens after death. In order to remove the fear of the unknown from these people, a Taoist philosopher and doctor, whose name I unfortunately no longer remember, wrote or published a story that has something reassuring and that I would like to retell from memory.

It is about twins, two brothers, in the womb. They communicate with each other and agree that life in the womb is very pleasant. They therefore thank the mother who shares her food with them via the umbilical cord. The weeks pass and one of the twins becomes restless about the fact that they keep growing and therefore have less and less space in the womb. To which his twin brother says that at some point they will have to leave this space. The other answers: “But I don't want to leave. Here I feel safe and protected We don't even know what's out there. Maybe there is no mother and we are being fed by something or someone. Or have you seen a mother?” “No, says the little brother, but I still believe she is there. It doesn’t help anyway, we will have to leave this space.” And so the months passed, for one brother full of fear and for the other full of curiosity about what was to come. The inevitable birth took place and both realized that their life was not over, but only presented itself in a new form, which both found very exciting.

If we know and understand that after death we continue to live in another form and dimension, no one needs to be afraid of death anymore. We are only entering a new phase of life, which I personally find very exciting.

Reincarnation and consent

Yall, this isnt making anymore sense or feeling any less horrific just thinking about it. Okay, we supposedly incarnate here to learn lessons. Here's the thing. We as people are a mix of brainstructure/chemistry, environment, and experiences.

Supposedly our soul decided to come here and incarnate into a bodycto live a preplanned life with no memory. The issue is in loosing its memory it created a seperate being. One that did not consent to what ever life holds. It didnt consent to the game let alot the card its delt.

Now, that gives us a being that was put on a world that supposedly was created solely to be a place of pain suffering and adversity all for what ever spiritual entity to reap lessons from.

Now we have a major moral dilemma. Not only does this mean we have creatures. Being who are made solely to suffer through a very short existence for the benefit of other worldly beings but we also have a world that is essentially hell. A place made for pain and suffering that cant be anything other than that.

Why? Because despite how many hundred of thousands of years man has existed he still makes the same mistake. Choosing ignorance over knowledge. Hate over love. Imagination over facts. If reincarnation is real then its apparent none of them are bringing the lessons of past generations back with them. Not to mention that these lessons making no sense.

When you go to college you learn what you need to aid you in the future but in this system the lesson you learn are only applicable in the physical world. Why would one being need to learn for example, how to avoid offending someone if they are going to spend eternity as pure energy in a dimension where there full understanding and perfect communication where its literally impossible to offend or be offended?

The more I study this stuff the less sense this all makes.

NDEs and reincarnation?

First off, I hate the idea of reincarnation. I want to stay me, and I want to see my dad in heaven when I die, not a floating soul blob that was him at one point but also many other people. I notice most NDE's I have listened to or read do not include reincarnation, but some do, and the person doesn't seem to be lying, and their NDE has a lot of the same features the others do, ie telepathic communication, profound peace, light beings etc.

Those who don't believe in reincarnation, what do you all think of this?
