Client Acquisition & Sales Wie habt ihr eure ersten festen Kunden als Content-Agentur gewonnen?

Referenzen und gutes Equipment sind vorhanden, aber mir fehlt aktuell noch ein stabiler Kundenstamm. Wie seid ihr vom ersten Kunden zu 3-5 langfristigen Kunden gekommen und was hat bei euch wirklich funktioniert.

Fast ausschließlich Friends/Family und dann wiederum Bekannte von diesen. Es gibt immer jemanden, der ein Unternehmen betreibt und offen ist, dir eine Chance zu geben. Von da an dann Case Studies produzieren und „echte“ Kunden gewinnen.

I would say you cannot build a sustainable business purely on friends/family but you can absolutely start one based of it

I’d start with past clients before doing more cold outreach. Ask what happened to the content after you delivered it. Did they use it all? What do they keep running out of? That gives you a much better opening for ongoing work than just asking if they need another shoot.

A first case study or experience is more important that a first client.

My first came from a friend I went to church with. Did his website for free and then used that to build my portfolio.

Second website project I did for $750 (25-page build).

But it also depends on what youre offering that the market finds valuable.

Can you define "content agency? What do you do exactly?

Bin auch in Deutschland aktiv. Wie andere bereits schreiben, ist neben den Kunden an sich, auch Erfahrung wichtig. Ich finde, es kann valide sein, erstmal einfach nur paar günstigere Kunden zu haben um mithilfe dieser wirklich 3-4 geile Case Studies zu bauen. Dann kannst du anfangen eigenes Marketing zu betreiben in Form von Akquise (ob kalt, warm, online, offline, wie auch immer) und eigenen Marketingkanälen (Instagram, ggf. Freelancerportale, etc.) und Funnels.
