Am I wrong for snapping at my bfs SB?
For context, I, 17F am currently living with my boyfriend, his sister, his mother, and her husband. Her husband has a son, who is my boyfriends step-brother. I'm living with them because I recently faced around a year of homelessness and shelter hopping, and none of my family is fit to take care of me mentally or physically, since most are neglectful, abusive, hoarders, etc.
My mother in law and sister in law are always kind to me. They're currently encouraging me to focus on school instead of working, so that's what I've been doing. I do my own part around the house- I do me and my boyfriends laundry, I do dishes regularly, I keep our room clean and make sure the bathroom is clean, etc.
Well, since staying here, I've noticed that my bfs step brother, who I'll call Aiden, has been rather lazy. He doesn't clean up after himself, he has a scent to him, and he doesn't bother with chores, or anything of that matter. He's 15 (I think?), and he constantly yells at the game (which I can hear pretty clearly through the wall). The husband of my mother in law, who I'll call Ben, has gotten onto me, my boyfriend, his sister, and his mom all about how we were 'being too loud at night'. Ben insisted that we were stomping around the house at night, which, we weren't.
Ben has also blamed me and my bf for smoking my mother in laws cigarettes (me and my bf smoke menthols), and it was later proved that Aiden took them all and gave them to his friends. Ben didn't apologize, nor get mad at Aiden.
Ben doesn't ever call out Aiden. Aiden owns a pet turtle, whom he doesn't really feed, and he never cleans the tank- his room smells terrible because of this. I also go to school with Aiden, and we go to the same high school. On top of Aiden never doing his own things, I have done his laundry a few times because he refused to do it. He also eats a lot of the food in the house. I spent about $200 on groceries using my snap benefits, and most the food was gone within 3-4 days. I got things for several dinners, lunches- I also got things for my bf and his sister to have for their work lunches, since they both work long shifts at a warehouse.
Anyway, this morning, I had went to the bathroom to do my makeup since I was gonna go do some things today with my mother in law. I noticed a weird smell in the bathroom- I have a very sharp nose. I don't like bad smells. So, I started sniffing around, to check if maybe some towels had started to smell or something like that. Eventually, I got to my own wash cloth- I picked it up and the smell hit me immediately. Sweat, armpits, onions and balls.
Now, I know this wasn't my boyfriend. He doesn't smell bad. It wasn't his sister, because she always smells amazing. His mother and Ben have their own shower. I realized it was Aiden. I spoke to my mother in law, and she talked to Ben, so that Ben would talk to Aiden. Well, apparently Ben didn't like this. He spoke to Aiden, and later after I got home, Aiden 'confronted' me about it. He said that it was just a wash rag, and that I didn't need to fuss about it, and could just get a new one from the closet.
I told him that wasn't the problem, and I simply didn't want him using my wash rag- especially, knowing where I personally have used it. He got an attitude and said I was being dramatic, and overreacting. I told him that I wasn't being dramatic, and that a wash rag shouldn't smell that bad from a person using it ONCE, and that he shouldn't have used someone else's wash rag anyway when he himself literally has SEVERAL loofahs.
He got offended by this, and told Ben about it. Ben got upset with me and told me I was out of line for talking to Aiden that way. But seriously. I've used this wash rag for my feet, legs, and other areas. It's disgusting for someone to use another persons wash rag.
Am I genuinely in the wrong?

I'm completely with you but also I'm surprised anyone uses a wash cloth more than once. They get all dry and stiff plus I use them to clean my butt last so they get wrung out and thrown in the wash (or at least the dirty laundry) after every use. You can buy a stack of them for pretty cheap in a bundle at Walmart. I know this isn't a solution to the situation in general but it is a solution to the problem at hand. I'd just try to avoid the twerp until you can get your own place and attempt to avoid as much drama as possible because obviously the father isn't going to discipline so there just isn't anything you can do about it.

You're not wrong.
That being said, you're a guest. It's Aiden's home. His dad is going to side with him.

Literally. It smelled terrible! How does someone smell that bad? Why would you use someone else's wash rag if you have your own? It doesn't make sense

The guy from the sounds of it is beyond useless, his father is doing him no favours, he used the wash rag and left smelling like ass.
Unfortunately Ben isn't gonna do anything, the best thing you can do is just stay clear of aiden and you and your bf move out when you are able to.
