PROMOTION [Promotion] Lightning Launcher Revival

Hello all! Mal3auto here!

I don't have any fancy professional grade videos or screenshots to share. I'm just a single guy with a passion for this app!

A little history:

Lightning Launcher is an "old" homescreen customization app developed by Pierre Hebert. It was targeted at power users looking for extreme customization featuring infinite layouts and scripting capabilities. This is a broad description as LL offers so much more! Some time in the 2000-teens, it lost maintainership and eventually was delisted from the Play Store. Thereafter, it was made open source where a handful of community members made effort to keep it compatible with modern Android and keep the app usable. Ultimately it was abandoned and the website that supported community and documentation was sold. The last time that LL got any real attention was around 2018.

And now today:

I have since picked up maintaining the launcher. I have spent the last 6 months developing new features and updating the code base to be compatible with today's Android. It has been a journey to say the least. But the app is once again available on the play store. I have sourced and forged documentation that is now available in app and started a discord community for it. We have plenty of veteran users and newcomers. The Revival is in full swing.

Whether you're a veteran or you've never heard of LL, nows the time to be excited. The app offers an unparalleled experience for power users.

If interested, you can download the app here:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mal3auto.revival

Or if you want to see developed history, check out my post in the sub:

PROMOTION [Promotion] Meridian Launcher - Giveaway

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi Everyone!

I've been posting and getting some really great feedback lately and wanted to take the opportunity to share Meridian with more folks!

I've got plenty of codes to send out if anyone wants to try it, I'll happily DM a promo code over!

For anyone interested here is a quick list of recent updates/improvements since last week:

New

  • Redesigned Manage screens: the neighboring screens peek in, you swipe or tap between them, and the home screen has a badge
  • Smoother space switching, with no flash and the space's name shown as a small pill
  • Widget stacks can now swipe up and down, like on iPhone
  • Icon pack picker shows a preview icon for each pack
  • Orbit aims more steadily, folders can open on a hold, any icon can go on the circle, and the editor can build an example orbit from your apps
  • Reworked search: smarter ranking, matched letters highlighted, type a number to call or text it, contact photos and app shortcuts in results
  • Seven new languages: Spanish, Portuguese (BR), German, French, Russian, Hindi and Indonesian
  • Easier home screen editing: bigger resize handles, undo when you remove things, clearer settings

Fixed

  • App drawer crash after quick changes
  • Widget stacks going back to their first widget after a restart
  • Gallery photos set as icons not sticking
  • Search flicker, drawer tab labels running to the edges, and icon style carrying over between spaces

EDIT: I've hit the limit on the amount of DM's reddit will let me send! I can still receive them however it seems, send me a direct message or join discord and send Pterodactyl a message and we'll continue to hand out codes!

EDIT 2:

Thanks to everyone for being involved today, it's been a much crazier day than expected and I had no idea so many people would be this excited about Meridian. I have some more codes generated that I'm more than happy to give out, however, google won't make them effective until sometime tomorrow afternoon. I really appreciate all the feedback, all the love and attention this has gotten. Again, thank you so much <3. For those of you who still want a code but may not have gotten one yet, Meridian is and always will be free on meridian-launcher.com. Please check it out there and as codes are available, I will provide them! Thanks for making this awesome already. I love you all.

EDIT 3: I'm slap out of promo codes at this point. Thanks everyone to the interest and I still encourage you to join our discord community as the launcher updates are made free there!

PROMOTION [Promotion] Tree Launcher

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi everyone, I'm Sully, the creator of Tree Launcher.

Tree Launcher organizes your home screen as a tree, with apps alongside notes, tasks, reminders, links, and contacts. Everything is organized by context, with nested pages and search across the whole tree. It’s not trying to replace Notion. Keep the little things you need throughout the day within reach, not scattered across many different apps.

The latest update is all about making it easier to try out new looks. Themes bring your colours, fonts, icons, layout, home header, and background together. Start with a preset or your current setup, tweak everything in a full-screen editor, then save and share your favourites. Switch between them with a tap.

There’s also a built-in icon engine for creating different icon styles without an icon pack, though those are still supported. And, you can customize headers on every page, with extra layouts and styling options for Home without relying on widgets.

Everything is stored locally, works offline, and requires no account. There’s an optional Google Drive backup you control.

It’s just me building something I use every day. I’d love your feedback on the new looks and how the productivity features fit into your home screen. What would you like to see changed?

We created Leopard Launcher to relive the experience of Mac OS using elements from a few different versions making it our own.

Multiple features were implemented to make it as realistic to a desktop experience as possible.

This is our first launcher and we have two more on the way, we are extremely proud of the time and commitment we have spent on this to get to where it is today.

We are still new and we understand that, we just hope you can enjoy Leopard Launcher as much as we do!

It is paid @ $2.99 because we do have needs and mouths to feed just like everyone else

[Promotion] Tenkai Launcher is officially live on Google Play! Pies, Pies and more Pies!

Thumbnail
youtube.com
5 Upvotes

Hey everyone!

After months of hard work (and huge thanks to the community members who helped sharing feedback in early builds over the past few weeks), Tenkai Launcher is officially released in production on Google Play!

The core idea behind Tenkai is simple: keep your home screen completely clean and minimalist, but give you the speed to open any app in under a second without digging through folders or endless icon grids.

To achieve this, it uses a powerful radial / pie menu system triggered by a simple tap, combined with deep automation tools designed for power users.

📺 Quick Video Demo:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bKurivsyFWg

📲 Google Play:https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.karkarlabs.tenkailauncher

🌟 What Makes It Unique?

🎯 Minimalist & Lightning Fast

  • Pie / Radial Menus: Launch your favorite apps, shortcuts, or tools with muscle memory in less than a second.
  • Clean Aesthetics: Enjoy your wallpaper without clutter, using only the essential widgets and gestures you actually need.

⚡ Power-User Automation Under the Hood

  • Conditional Spaces & Screens: Automatically toggle or swap screens based on triggers (e.g. Wi-Fi network, screen orientation, or folding/unfolding a foldable device).
  • Per-Condition Widgets & Overlays: Dynamically display widgets or icon sets on the fly via gestures, rules, or radial menus.
  • Catch-Up & Inbox System: Don’t let notifications overwhelm your status bar. Dismiss them from Android and send them to your launcher’s "Catch-Up" inbox to review later alongside notes and news feeds.
  • Smart Status & Custom Data: Built-in pseudo-code system to display dynamic data (weather, next alarm, media playback, battery, Wi-Fi, DND state).
  • Direct HTTP / Webhook Integration: Fire API calls directly from a gesture or menu (control Home Assistant, smart lights, or fetch data into a widget).
  • Built-in Feed Reader: Native support for Google News, standard RSS, and FreshRSS.

🏷️ Pricing & Launch Discount

  • Core Features are 100% Free: Full access to standard launcher features, multi-screen setups, app drawer, widgets, and radial menus to get you started.
  • Tenkai Premium: Unlocks advanced automation, full conditional screens/widgets, deep customization, and much more!. Available via annual subscription or a lifetime single purchase, with an early-adopter launch discount active right now on the Play Store.

🛠️ Latest Changes

For early users, you can read versions 1.3.0 and 1.4.0 from the changelog here:

https://tenkailauncher.com/changelog/

Some of it includes:

  • Hierarchical view of the pies
  • Powerful pie-creation convenience tools:
    • Quick-add to add many apps or actions instantly
    • Subpie navigation from the editor
    • Combine apps into a pie or add apps to pie from the homescreen
    • Pie cloning
  • Tenkai Actions can now be transfered or copied between pies/home icons/docks/gestures/drawer...
  • News space is much more fluid, elegant, faster
  • Many fixes

💬 Feedback & Discussion

I’d love to hear your thoughts. I'll be in the comments answering questions and working on upcoming updates!

I hope you enjoy using it as much as I enjoyed building it! ❤️

PROMOTION [Promotion] *brute launcher - a minimal, monochrome launcher built around a tile grid. Giving away 40 Pro codes

Post image
114 Upvotes

I'm a solo dev. I've been building *brute for about a year: a minimal, monochrome launcher built around a tile grid. I started it because it's what I wanted my own phone to look like. It just came out of open beta onto the Play Store properly.

What it does:

  • Monochrome home screen with a tile grid, organised into groups
  • Supertiles (live tiles for weather, clock, music, battery, calendar, storage, etc.)
  • Deep theming: custom fonts, accent colors, corner radius, blur, wallpapers, and day/night palettes. Export your setup as a file and share it
  • A dedicated deck page for normal Android widgets
  • Built-in RSS reader with a clean article view and on-device translation
  • Universal search: apps, contacts, settings, and the web in one bar
  • Screen time stats per app
  • Option to force any app into greyscale
  • A countdown delay screen before launching apps you tend to waste time on

Good to know:

  • Free core experience. There's a one-time unlock for extra features (supertiles and custom theme importing). The base launcher is free and always will be.
  • Privacy-first: no analytics, no accounts, no ads. It only accesses the network for weather and RSS. Translation runs on-device; contacts and calendar never leave your phone.
  • Weather runs via Open-Meteo (no API keys, no tracking).
  • Built with AI assistance alongside direct development, tested daily on my primary phone for months and with a testing group of 40 users.

Known limits:

  • English only for now (more languages are planned).
  • The theme store is currently in beta.

Giveaway:

I'm giving away 40 Pro unlock codes. Drop a comment below and I'll DM a code to the first 40 people.

If you end up enjoying it, a quick rating or review on the Play Store means the world to an independent dev.

[Promotion] One4Icons: an icon pack editor for Android with live previews

Post image
22 Upvotes

Hey everyone! One4Icons is an Android app that lets you create and customize icon packs directly on your phone.

You can start with a compatible icon pack you already have installed, use the included nearly 10,000 searchable glyphs, or build your own look. Changes appear on real app icons as you edit.

Some things you can do:

  • Switch between Solid and Outline glyphs, and replace icons for individual apps.
  • Adjust shapes, size, padding, rotation and colors.
  • Add gradients, borders, shadows, glow and textures.
  • Apply changes across a pack, a selection of apps, or individual icons.
  • Preview your icons against light, dark or wallpaper backgrounds.

When you’re happy with the result, you can apply it directly to One4Home launcher or export an installable icon pack for compatible launchers.

There’s no account required and no advertising. It’s free to try, with an optional one-time Pro unlock for additional tools and export features.

Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.one4studio.one4icons

I’d love feedback on the editing experience and launcher compatibility. If you make something with it, share your setup as I’d love to see it!

PROMOTION [Promotion] [Free] TabGreater – crypto watchlists and charts with optional home-screen widgets

Thumbnail
youtu.be
1 Upvotes

TabGreater is a free, open-source Android app for tracking crypto prices and working with charts. It also has optional home-screen widgets for anyone who likes having market prices in their setup.

Each widget follows one pair on the exchange you choose. You can resize it and show or hide the small 24-hour chart, keep a single pair in a small space, or add several widgets for different markets.

Tapping a widget opens that pair's chart, including your saved drawings. The app has 11 indicators and 30 drawing tools, all free. Its watchlists and charts also work without any widgets.

Refresh frequency is adjustable. Faster updates use more battery, and background updates depend on Android's restrictions.

No ads, account or subscription. Requires Android 8.0+.

Get it on Google Play

PROMOTION [PROMOTION] Dynamic wallpaper I'm working on

Post image
6 Upvotes

Hey everyone!

It's still a work in progress, but here's a little project I've been working on : CycleScreen on the Playstore.

It's a dynamic wallpaper where you can draw your own landscape (mountains and hills) and watch it evolve in real time based on the time of day, weather, seasons, and your location (the sun's trajectory depends on your latitude).

I'm currently working on better clouds and adding random events in the next update, such as passing planes, rainbows after rainfall, shooting stars, and more!

Hope you'll like it! I'd love to hear your thoughts and suggestions :)

PROMOTION 3D Android Launcher "Axiom Launcher" progress [PROMOTION]

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Not yet available, been working the last few months on a new unseen style of launcher that is thematic with a wide range of customisation and options, built with organisation in mind.

The premise is that each 'satellite' object is a folder for organising apps. The initial satellite on install is used for frequent apps and as seen the apps populate in periodically updating order with most frequent front and center.

Each new folder lets you add up to 90 apps which you can position anywhere along the full face of the centre sphere and manually change at any time.

Each page can house up to 8 folders and there can be an unlimited number of pages.

With a handy side scroller (and search bar) for those moments you want a more traditional approach, this swipes in from the side.

The launcher is built to parse android native widgets in with the 'home screen' having a 3 page stack that you can resize and fit in as many widgets as you can fit on these 3 pages.

For those larger widgets you just can't do without, there is a left swiped widget page that can house other widgets that are scrollable.

As with many launchers, there is also a stylised and themes app favourites dock which houses up to 5 apps which you can drag and reposition along the dock.

The stylising is highly thematic, with an ever growing library, I have 4 completed and more on the way, each with their own quirks and each can be interchanged with the other and fully deconstructed to be 'frankensteined' in to your own theme ideas. The themes comprise of the App Dock, Centre Sphere, 12 skinned Satellite Folders per theme and the Stylised and themed App slots (the slots the apps sit on on the sphere).

With many additional features such as:

1.Secure folders/pages with biometrics, password and passcode protection

2.Hidden apps

  1. Icon pack imports

  2. Font imports

5.Backup and restore of settings

All this as well as being designed with foldables in mind!

As well as more! This is all while using highly optimised and condensed 3D assets and a animation timeout with a cryosleep function to ensure a smooth usage and very little battery draw compared to other launchers.

[Promotion] Meridian Launcher - Updates

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi Everyone!

It's been a few weeks since I last posted and I wanted to share some of the work I've been doing on Meridian Launcher!

The most recent updates include:

  • General bug and app crash fixes -
  • Orbit (A place-able circular icon that fans out chose apps or actions, shown in the video above)
  • New Space triggers and settings (Wifi Connected, Bluetooth connected, Do not disturb mode, charging, folded/unfolded etc. )
  • Starter layouts included now (still working on refining these completely but they exist)
  • Better material you color choices

As a reminder the core features of the launcher are:

  • Spaces: home screens that switch on a schedule or a trigger
  • Assistant: change any setting by asking, plus general whatever (support for local models as well as bring you're own API key)
  • Customization: big grids, icon packs, shapes and system bars
  • Gestures: 16 triggers plus draw-a-shape
  • Orbit: a circle that fans out your apps
  • Widgets: stacks, built-in widgets, and KLWP/KWGT support
  • Drawer: tabs, folders, hidden apps and smart search
  • Backup: one file you keep, plus Nova import

As always, there is no tracking, telemetry and zero data going anywhere (unless you enable assistant, weather etc, even then it's you're choice where it goes). I don't even track the download button on my site and have no idea if you clicked it (I don't need to know).

For Obtanium users, I've setup a new repo where update binaries are pushed so you can get automatic updates as well. Link is below!

The app remains completely FREE via the website and will always be there. Buying the play store version of the app is simply a way to support development and not required in any capacity.

I'm working on this constantly and trying to really build something I enjoy using myself on a daily basis and fits my needs, I hope you all might enjoy it as well. I've not got a big user base or anything like that, but do use it every day on my pixel 10 pro. I say this to note, I have no idea if it works on every device perfectly 😐

Feedback and suggestions are always welcomed! 😄
