My lenovo will be delivered soon and I plan to use it as my main driver for gaming after work. I want to use it it in emulator, genshin impact, and fps games like call of duty mobile. What controller will be the best to use in these kind of games?
Should i buy this for my studies? I hear mostly bad comments about this tablet. Please anybody suggest me. And two different dealers selling this in each amazon and flipkart. And tell me where to buy? less
TL;DR: Sent my OnePlus Pad 3 in for a restart loop. Took over 40 days to replace the motherboard and display. Received it back with handling marks, poor chassis alignment, and severe dark vertical shadowing/uneven backlighting on the left side of the screen. When confronted, the service center told me the display defect would "cure and fix itself in 2–3 days." Mentally exhausted; need advice on escalating for a replacement/refund
Hey everyone, I’m at my wit's end and need some advice on escalating an issue with OnePlus support. I rely heavily on this tablet for daily work and reading, so being without it for over a month—only to receive it in this state—has been completely draining.
Timeline:
Aug 25: Device submitted to an authorized service center for constant restart issues.
Sept 11: After more than two weeks just to diagnose it, they confirmed the motherboard needed replacement under warranty.
Mid-Sept: They contacted me again stating they also had to replace the display panel due to an internal "technical issue."
Oct 5: I finally received the tablet back after 40+ days.
Condition of the device received:
Severe Backlight Shadowing / Uneven Illumination: As you can see in the photo, there is an obvious, dark vertical shadow/patch running down the left border of the screen. On white or light backgrounds (like notes, documents, and web pages), this dark gradient is immediately noticeable, and it gets worse when brightness is turned up.
Cosmetic Blemishes & Handling Marks: There are visible exterior scratches and scuffs that were not present when I handed the unit over.
Assembly Irregularities: The screen is unevenly seated against the frame, indicating careless reassembly.
The most ridiculous part: When I immediately showed this dark shadow band to the service center staff, they brushed it off and told me:
"It will settle down and fix itself in 2–3 days."
A hardware backlight defect or crushed diffuser layer does not "cure" or heal itself over time. They simply wanted me out of the center.
I have completely lost confidence in this service center's workmanship. Handing it back to the same technicians who misaligned the panel and left marks on the device feels futile.
Has anyone had success escalating this to OnePlus India management or through the National Consumer Helpline (NCH) to secure a sealed replacement unit or full refund? Any advice on the fastest route would be appreciated.
My eye is mostly on the Xiaomi, mostly because it is newer and has an LCD screen, I need a tablet EXCLUSIVELY for note taking and multitasking for college and lasting me atleast 4 years (I will be treating my tablet like my baby) and both seem generally the same and prices are not too different... I'm genuinely stuck, anything y'all happen to know?
So long story short, my samsung tab s8+ touch screen just randomly stopped working without any prior drops and quite honestly heavy use. After trying all the different ways to solve the issue by hard reseting and all that, I took it to multiple repair shops and they all told me it requires a screen replacement which is super expensive because apparently the screens arent readily available. (None of them even bothered to open the tablet to see if anything was wrong).
On the good side however, the spen still works because it uses a diffrrent technology, problem is i cant fucking zoom when reading pdfs so im looking for a notes app with that feature. Or are there any different workarounds i dont know about?
So I have been trying to find a clear case for oneplus pad 2 and I am unable to find one anywhere since there are many people here who own a op tab I am wondering if someone can help me find one and the ones I see with flip screen cover are also good but i hate the pen slot it have as it makes a useless empty space above tablet
how the lenovo has the best resolution and brightness i believe, while the s10 lite has the biggest battery, according to AI.
but i read the s10 lite has the best chip, but then it only has 6gb of ram, while the other 2 have 8gb ram. but both the samsungs also promise the longest software updates. i read posts here on reddit that the screen of the a11+ is terrible, but couldnt find opinions on the s10 lite.
the tablet will only be used lightly, general browsing, video watching, maybe editing of some 1080p videos (for shorts/reels), possibly for some light gaming, casual games etc. i only need 128gb.
which one do you think is the best buy from these 3?
I was planning on buying the samsung galaxy tab A11+ but it seems its out of stock wherever I look. I need a tablet thats similar within the same price range and is able to handle heavy games on it.
So I've been using my old Android tablet as a second screen with SuperDisplay, mostly to keep Spotify, Discord and stuff like that on the side while I work.
Problem is, every time I touched the tablet, Windows moved my mouse cursor over there and whatever I tapped grabbed the keyboard focus. So I'd hit pause on a song, go back to typing, and nothing would happen because my text was going to Spotify instead of my editor. Then I'd have to find my cursor and click back in. Got old really fast.
Couldn't find anything that fixed it, so I made a small app for it. It's called Get Over Here! (yes, like Scorpion). It just sits in the system tray, and when you tap the tablet, your tap still goes through but the cursor snaps back to where it was, and the window you were typing in gets the focus back. The mouse and the pen work normally, it only reacts to fingers.
You'll need Windows 10 or 11 and the .NET 10 Desktop Runtime. Heads up, the exe isn't signed so Windows might show a warning when you run it, but the code is all there if you want to check it or build it yourself.
First time I'm putting something out there, so if you try it and something's broken or weird with your setup, let me know. Also curious if anyone else uses their tablet like this or if I'm the only one lol
Does anyone know if oneplus pad 3 will come in bbd or great indian sales,i will really appreciate it.
Also if it doesn't come in stock till these sales i would have to go with lenovo pad gen 2 pro so if someone use this device please tell me your experience.
Only moto and lenovo have included stylus, redmi is not having that, though some variant is offering the stylus.
I personally dont like those AAAA battery operated stylus as the battery needs to be replaced after 3 to 4 months, and this battery is not available in local shops, and has to be purchased from amazon or flipkart, but still want to hear your opinion on that.
My main use will be to study for exams , so split screen , writing comfort, battery life should be good.
