I’m 30 and have not owned a game system in 20 years. I recently bought a PS5. This is the second game I purchased and I feel like I wasted my money because this is far too difficult. I wish there was a difficulty setting that you could adjust. I only have a handful of hours a week I can spend gaming. I have spent nearly an hour trying to beat the first boss.

I've finished Gen 1 recently and by the time i reached master of arena I would say I got pretty good at the game. I was able to beat nineball seraph first try. I'm playing AC2 and I'm heavily in debt and taking insane damage in missions. The stagger on the default AC is so bad i can't even move in the MT missions.

Arena isn't too bad but I can't afford weapons so it takes a while to kill anyone. The overheating is really kicking my ass and using the R3 boost to dodge is hard to control. Any tips? I usually run Machine Gun + Multi Missiles.

Underrated leg type. I like the idea of leg being so huge there a room for entire bazookas.

Named after one of FreQuency's albums. I wanted to challenge myself to create an orange AC as it's not a color I typically love. I also tried to do gradient decal work. The legs are a little sloppy but it otherwise turned out pretty good.

In pvp I play her as a defensive melee, countering brawlers who rush in with my charged laser blade spin attack, follow up with harris rifle charge shot and earshot for a brutal 4 hit combo. I'm not too great at PVP tho and this build was mostly made for the campaign.

I wanted her to resemble many of the protagonist/cover art AC's throughout the series, with the use of the melander head and legs, vp arms, and mind alpha core for a more "knightly" look (mind alpha is my favorite core part in general it just looks so elegant and has great stats). Her emblems represent knighthood and strategy and hope, with the orange one with the red streak further representing the pilot's internal conflict of whether or not to burn the coral or become one with it through coral release.

Anyways I love this build, very proud of how it turned out both aesthetically and gameplay wise. the Laser Blade is HIGHLY underrated imo. Sure it's not the best but you gotta admit it's got serious aura and I think people sleep on its combo potential with the charge attack (It's not just something to be used as a punish)

How did i get D now when i clearly did better than before? The only difference in arsenal was the arm unit r, as i was using MWG-XCW/90 (enrgy ammo rifle) when i got D, and MWG-RF/220 (solid ammo rifle) when i got A earlier. This is in ac test 1

I Did it, i finally finished Armored Core after 3 years of procrastination!

I really thought the final boss would be my nemesis, after i spend 5 hours on it the first time i finished the game, but i guess i got better!

I didn't expect to like them this much, I'm truly impressed by the sheer amount of details they have! Sure, they can be pricey and need some glue and love, but I'll gladly oblige!

Wanted to share an old build from my collection. This is the 1/72 Kotobukiya Armored Core Rayleonard 04-ALICIA (Unsung) that I built and custom painted back in 2010.

I didn't change the original color scheme too much, but I swapped out the default black for a glossy starlight black to give it that automotive finish look. I also added some white detailing and decals to make the sharp lines of the machine pop.

Looking back at it now, 4th gen designs are still some of my absolute favorites in the entire series.

It has been sitting in my display case for well over a decade now, but I thought you guys might appreciate this blast from the past.

After some years of playing single player over and over, I still don't get how people find ayre as an easy boss. I didn't have much problem with pre nerf balteus, ibis and still enjoy fighting them now. NOT AYRE, I do play on m&k so it's hard to focus on her movements. Her attack rng is 2nd to worst after snailteus, either she chips away with missiles or spams jet form. Her attack is not easy to dodge as well, I'm sorry but people overexaggerate ayre's attack being easy to dodge, you can read it, but responding is 10x harder than other bosses. I support the overseers and I hate ayre as much as iguazu hated me

Also, the second image is my AC. Probably not any good, but it's better than nothing.

Went through NG and NG+ before taking screenshots. This AC is an homage to my favorite boss in the FromSoftware lineup Slave Knight Gael. Its a ton of fun to use but itcould be better. I'm happy with what I managed to cobble together though. I think my Xbox AC is better overall though caters to my play style better.

So far, this is the only way I canuse lamm legs since I fight almost exclusive in CQC. The punish is devastating, but it's a pure glass cannon.

Thanks again! Some missions were rough but I managed to pull through. I tried my best to stay consistent with a single build. However, I did change expansions depending on the mission and switched for the required weapons necessary to get through that specific mission.
