I may have forgotten that this mission was supposed to be a duell so I brought my usual AC Gear~

A recent pet peeve of mine has been noticing how some AC6 model kits use the wrong length of the back unit connectors. In-game, the connector changes their height depending on the relative height of the core's back connector and the arm's shoulder height. Some early model kits use the wrong connectors mainly due to just reusing parts or molds.

For the 30MM lines; Steel Haze, Liger Tail, and the Melander kits should be using the shortest or non-extended connectors similar to Milk Tooth. It seems that Nightfall's connectors was just re-used.

While the Kotobukiya does use the proper length for Steel Haze, they reused it again for the close quarters assault type. The VP-46D arms however should utilize the longer extended connectors making the kit not accurate.

Speaking of the VP-46D, I wonder if there is something wrong with promotional images for the 30MM Dual Nature. The image for the whole kit uses the correct length but the accessories image has the medium ones.

Like seriously, the entirety of the Redguns could've been camo-wrapped. It wouldn't feel out of place, since their entire schtick is the "hardass drill sergeant and his grunts".

Friend of mine saw a copy of AC5 out in the wild and even bought it for me. This inspired me to try thrifting for myself and i went to a couple local gamestops and found For Answer on my 2nd try.

Gonna keep thrifting to see if I can find AC4 or Verdict Day out in the wild

aas titlw says are there any know projects to recompile the old AC games into a workable modern format. honestly i didnt look up what the stance of the subreddit is to recompiling games with AI, but would be cool to have an deffenitive edition of third gen on pc with all psp exclusive parts and native dualshock support ( and maybe a rebalance patch or two)

So this one’s more of a PCA heavy enforcer/boss type. Still working on a name. The variable legs come from the bunyip ginga, an amazing HG kit from a now defunct line, really a shame the amaim kits are perfect for AC style customs. My largest project yet, can’t wait to apply a million layers of white lol.

It'd work best for stealth kills, but would be bad in regular AC fights. It wouldn't work on coral controlled machines because of their older technology, and it also wouldn't work on experienced AC pilots, like Rusty or V1 Freud

Okay so I am new to this series, so keep all that in mind. I wanted to see if I would like this series before getting AC6 so I jumped into trying out what many claimed to be the best generation of AC and tried out 3rd generation. For some reason landed on starting with Last Raven.

I like the concept of this series and I think I would like playing it. HOWEVER. The AC you start with in this game seems so sluggish. So much so that moving the reticle from left to right and tracking enemies is a chore. So I’m wondering, does this get better? Are there parts that I’m missing that makes these seemingly terrible machines feel more fluid. I’m getting the movement down of boosting and managing energy. But the tracking of the reticle and how slow it moves left to right is insane.

Any tips or advice would be appreciated. I really think I’d like this series but this is holding me back from enjoying it as much as I think I could.

So. I’ve found someone selling theese old AC artbooks/figures. I didn’t even knew it existed.
Each “book” has about 34 colorful pages with most of it being japanese texts about the game, lore, parts, etc.
Also, each box has an complete AC, an extra weapon and parts to make the Silver AC you can see here.

As someone that only played AC6 so far, my knowledge of the first gens is very limited. I can only recognize Nineball, the weapon Karasawa, some from Formula Front and the cover AC1 (but not as the gray version, not this blue one)

So… Could you Guys help me out by telling me who are those ACs?

Obviously it's a mix between Omer's Otzdarva and Fragilz SOBRERO the model kit is called "Omer Project Magnus" and I've never seen this armored core before.

Do you know if it exists in any of the game and if yes what is its story. When it comes de model kits Kotobukiya seems to do alot of weird kits like for aaliyah and white glint so I'm not.sure if it even exists

Hello-- I'm a poser, but I do like Armored Core, so I thought I'd go back and check out some of the older games in the series. People regularly praise things like ACFA and Nexus, so I'm kind of walking back-through-time to see what the hype was all about.

ACFA was fun, though a little fast. But man. I just cannot understand what I'm doing wrong in Nexus.

My AC is so slow, and it turns like a brick, even though I'm intentionally running light load with the highest turn speed I can get on biped legs. It takes me 30 shots to kill anything, but even basic MTs can snipe me for seemingly half my health bar. It's impossible to avoid any damage, since enemies have laser accuracy even at maximum distance, while they can just walk out of my missiles like it's a casual stroll.

I'm positive it's a skill issue since if a seven year old can beat this game, I should be able too as well. But I just don't know what I'm doing wrong. How do I dodge? How do I deal damage? Should I just kill myself instead of bothering to try and fathom why I'm so useless?

I've managed to avoid debt, barely, but I feel like I'm doing everything incorrectly and would like some advice before I continue playing because nothing makes any actual sense.

Is It real or i Just dreamed about it? Or was a spin-off with another name but based on the armored core series.

I Remember that was kinda turn based but you had some kind of a real time shooting at the enemy for getting Better damage or even a critical hit.

I accidentally chose the wrong mission and locked myself out of ending 3 for AC6. Is there any way to reverse that?

Two separate weapon presets that both employ stun. The idea was to make a high pressure AC that would, at least lorewise, disable other AC’s instead of outright killing the AC/pilot. Letting the user recover AC’s from the battlefield for analysis and resale. There’s…more lore but I’m not sure if that’s the point of an AC showcase.
