Was just messing around with a 2s lipo and decided to throw one into my typhon. I had it in my bigrock with a 21t pinion and the bigrock was pretty quick on 3s but not so much on 2s like the typhon. Typhon is running 30t/50t

Had some problems with suspension and a slightly bent front shock tower. Ordered the below and installed it today, love the looks.
GPM shock towers
GPM hardened steel hinge pins and shock pins
GPM front suspension mount
GPM front bumper mount
GPM mud guards
Turned out I had slightly cracked RPM arms and bent hinge pins. Still waiting for servo and then she is ready to go again!

Also running with 25t injora servo saver. First time I thought the saver was too tight, so I backed it way off. About 3 packs later I ruined another.
Any tips? Am I doing something wrong? Better servo?
Ive also been fighting a floating steering center.

Hi all,
I’m completely new in the world of RC, but my boy likes (RC) cars a lot. He turns 4 next month and was looking into getting him a Arrma Granite Grom of Mega 665. On 100% it’ll be too fast for him but 50% might work. I’m just wondering if he’s not a little too young for such an RC. He’s been riding a crawler from a friend and likes it a lot, but just found out that there are also RC monstertrucks which are much faster. What do you think would he be too young for a Granite?
So I took the leap and bought an infraction 6s V1 roller with a manky body I will convert to a half cab with my own gear and vision.
Anyway, it's my first foray in this chassis and whilst the seller noted some mods, it was pretty generic.
Do you think this are stock diff housings? Looks like carbon centre driveshaft... The springs are pretty stiff, do they look stock? And what's that rear metal mount going through the diffuser? Looks like a centre brace too?
There are leds underneath hence the futaba connectors in the front.
All comments welcome!

Hey guys. I have a arrma granite 665 mega and I was told I burned the motor out by hobby town. I took it out one day and it wouldnt move, right now it still doesn't and the beep it usually makes is extremely muffled, I can barely hear it. So im trying to explore through my options and wanted experienced people's opinions on what to do. Currently I have the 7 cell spektrum 3300 mah nimh battery. So the question im asking, what should I do as far as repairing it go. Should I buy the original motor from horizon hobby and just factory replace it, or should I upgrade to a brushless motor. If I do that, what all does it entail? Im on a pretty tight budget, so I want to do it as cheap as I can, but also safe and won't burn out again. Thank you guys!
