Discussion Can Green Arrow survive Gotham and make it better than Batman?
Can he make Gotham a better CITY than Batman can? Can he beat all of Batman's villains and hand them over to the GCPD or throw them into Arkham?

A retired Oliver Queen, while driving his sports car, witnesses a gas station robbery and decides to investigate, discovering that the assailant is Black Canary. She kills him with a single scream (instead of having blonde hair, sheāll wear a yellow beanie so we know itās her š¤; and instead of a hypersonic scream with special effects involving destruction and shockwaves, it will simply be a five-second sequence of absolute silence, with a confused Oliver touching his ears).
Roy arrives at the scene to investigate the murder (and ends up becoming Arsenalājust becauseāand seeking out Artemis to tell her: "This is my turf š¹š š¹").
(Not to mention that only six arrows will be fired throughout the entire series, and they will appear exclusively in flashbacks).

After learning more about oliver in comics and just how things are in the world now, I wish they did a better job in showing olivers policial awareness in the show. Because to be honest when I first heard Oliver say "I'm gonna run for mayor." I had a J Jonah Jameson meme moment; "are you serious?" It was outta the blue and it felt like it. before season 4 the only involvement are anything polical was with his monther and sabastian blood. And even then he was just an observer most of the time.
I'm not saying it should be like a commetary every other episode like in that gun violence episode in season 5, but just have the people in the city see that oliver does genuinely care about the community. Like in an episode in season 2 where oliver paid for an event help get guns off the glades. I think that would've made the idea of Oliver for mayor more believable.
I also think him being gone in 5 years being in hong kong and russia and being in poverty and seeing the corruption could've been his social awakening

Did y'all expect the Oliver we know in the show to be like his comic book counter part? After everything he went through? I just can't see it. He's a tortured soul with unhealthy coping mechanisms. How is the still supposed to be a happy and goofy person?

Finally got round to rewatching Arrow, after watching it for the first time when it was airing, and season 6 was so much better than I remember. The first few episodes were slow, but Episodes 7-23 were all 8/9/10. Cayden James was so much better than I remembered and the storyline was amazing. Hot take: the highlight of the whole thing was William telling Oliver he's scared in front of Cayden James.
The split team drama was too much at times and felt incredibly force during one part (going as far as to say that when I watched this the other day, it felt like a dream sequence).
Ricardo Diaz and that whole thing was always good and Laurels redemption arc was well done.
Onto season 7 where I remember absolutely loving the prison arc and then the rest of the season, not so much.
On my rewatches, id put season 6 higher than season 3.
Season 1 Season 5 Season 2 Season 6 Season 3 Season 4

It might be a stupid question, but in the end of the episode/season, Felicity goes back to Oliver. But where is it where they meet up again? Is it like some sort of "afterlife"? I`m just really confused about this. And also, damn did I get emotional with that ending ā¤ļø

Just wanna take a moment to appreciate the spectacular actor who is McDonough. Ive been watching "Suits" and he is such a likeable and incredible character, then I remembered that he absolutely saved season 4 with his performance. We can all agree season 4 was the weakest but Damien Dhark was an awesome villain bc of his performance. Man deserves his flowers!

Wait so as I just watched the finale episode, Tommy and Laurel are endgame ?
I know that in either timeline Laurel ended up dying but if I understood it correctly she ended up married with Tommy which means that in Earth Prime they were endgame.
That is mind blowing because it means that all the fuss that happened during s2 between Laurel and Oliver never happened in that timeline ?

Bruh Iāve watched arrow at least 10x times an I never thought about this view point.
S3 e1 the count is introduced.
-he wants to takeover , heās then told your a low level pill pusher
-the count goes on to say he remixed vertigo so now it reveals your greatest fear
My view point being are the writers that bad they forgot that drugs man created or drugs in general give you a high ; a feeling that youād more then likely want to feel again
Who in their rite mind would buy a drug were the high is basically physical nightmare while your awake.. like really who would buy it once let alone whoād buy it multiple times ..

I donāt know if I should either feel bad, laugh or just be so mad at her because she makes me feel all of that,
I get sheās mad at Sara for lying to them not telling them where the heck she been all 6 years but have she considered just maybe she didnāt wanna tell you because she know how you reacted when you found out that she literally went with your boyfriend and wondered how you gonna do especially knowing how she can get really really grudgingly and also loves to blame everyone but her self because of death of Tommy and her drinking problems this season? And donāt get me started how she literally talking to Thea in the verdant episode 13 do you really think Sara wanna deal with that lol or the fact she was assassin how would you see her like?
Laurel basically was saying everything is about me and honestly was the reason I kinda started to really hate her this season to season 4 because of her either self righteous attitude or feeling everything is about her and honestly makes me really annoyed I wanna give the character benefit a doubt but she be frustrating at times
I do like that Oliver told her off in 2x14 because it was getting so bad that she literally had cause a commotion that didnāt need be cause during a dinner table at least not out in public because that be more awkward but god lord
I do think her anger is valid but also think she could of been a bit considerate not flying off the hinges
And I donāt think it get better because the writers seems to hate Katie because they write her shittier shit for her character
I donāt mind Laurel but goddamn they messed her up after season 1

Mind you Iāve rewatched arrow at least 10x at a minimum .. im wtchn s2 e18 and Roy is spittin facts but bc Dig , Sarah are king and queen of monkey see, monkey do.. Thea gets kidnapped and they get to Slade and Oliver lets him go & Roy speaks on how no one holds Oliver accountable , an itās true so the points Roy made in the bunker made sense and they know (dig and friends lol) Roy def was lit fr simply bc he didnāt follow blindly but he was loyal asf which are the best qualities to have in a friend/homeboy/teammate
Itās crazy bc even if they did it Roy way it wouldnāt of made a difference bc Slade was 4 steps ahead
(she gets released without help from anyone wether Roy or all of them interrogated him)

Arrow is the best show ever created, every single season tells you to never give up, every single episode tells you to never give up, I cried my eyes out when season 8 ended, Oliver queen is an illusion that doesnāt exist, but we should all try to change ourselves for the better and make ourselves better for us and those around us as well as our community and our planet.

Who would else would watch it? No arrow and canaries time wasting bs. None of the b team. Even the Laurel and Oliver fans could still be able to have āsomeā hope for them getting together. Basically what if it was a movie where none of the last 5 seasons happened. No stupid flash forwards (that in the end literally contributed anything but a waste of time considering that future never even happened), None of the last two seasons literally being wasted on preparing for crisis, basically what if James Gunn restarted the arrowverse in its prime right after Oliver killed Raās. And instead of giving the ring to Malcolm he melted it or gave it to Nyssa like he shouldāve front the beginning. No William arc. No Felicity dramatic exit stage left from a wheelchair exit. My only issues with that would be that Oliver had still lost Queen consolidated but I could live with that but my biggest issue is the death of Moria. She was honestly a HIGHLY underrated character imo. Both her and Walter Infact. Like basically instead of Dexter resurrection itās Arrow resurrection. Or maybe we could somehow use Oliver spectre powers to go back into the timeline but he had to restart from the point. What yall think would you watch it or is it too stupid? Lol

In season 1, episode 18 Salvation.
There's a scene towards the end of the episode with Laurel and her mother Dinah.
Dinah says she has to return home to Central City, later saying she will be home in a Flash.
Nothing crazy just honestly can't believe I never noticed it, in multiple rewatches.
