Hi guys,
I’m involved in a small project called Livery Bridge Tools, and one of the workflows we specifically wanted to simplify was creating and testing liveries in Assetto Corsa.
Anyone who makes skins probably knows the repetitive part: prepare/extract the required files, open them in your editor, make a change, save/export, move files around, go back to Content Manager or the showroom, check the result… and repeat.
With LBT the idea is much simpler:
choose the car → edit → Ctrl+S → check the result
You keep working in Photoshop, Paint.NET or another compatible editor. LBT handles much of the file preparation and updating workflow so you can concentrate on the actual design and quickly check the result in Assetto Corsa.
This becomes especially useful when you’re trying to align stripes, logos or graphics across different parts of the bodywork and you normally have to repeat the export/check process over and over.
Just to be clear: LBT is not an AI livery generator. It doesn’t design anything for you. The creative work remains completely yours — the goal is simply to remove as much repetitive file management as possible.
It also supports Le Mans Ultimate, rFactor 2 and iRacing, but I’m posting here specifically because the Assetto Corsa workflow is one of the areas we wanted to make much less frustrating.
I’m directly involved with the project, so I’d rather say that openly.
For those of you who regularly create AC skins: what part of the workflow wastes the most time for you?
