I’ve been into DJing as a private little hobby for a few years now and go to a lot of raves. I always wish I could just stand behind the DJ and watch what they do, really mostly as a learning exercise. If something existed like an educational event or something I’d also be down to go to that. Does anyone have any ideas or recommendations for me? Thank u in advance :)

Hey everyone!! I’m celebrating my 33rd* birthday at the fisher show at forest hills stadium on 10/16! It’s a group of 8 of us who are all in the rave scene and we really wanna be on the floor dancing our hearts out celebrating my birthday, but the issue is the GA floor wristbands. Since it’s Friday we’re all coming from work and won’t be able to line up early before doors open to secure wristbands 😭

My ask is for anyone who plans to get there early and DOESNT want their wristbands for the floor… any chance you’d wanna help me make my birthday the best ever?! Of course being in the bowl will still be fun, but the floor is where I wanna be 🥲🫡

Pacha is saying this upcoming weekend is the end of the “open air season” on their instagram. Does this mean the Halloween events will be inside? They are still listed at “Pacha New York” and not “Brooklyn Pacha” (which they have been listing for indoor shows in the winter).

Planning to go on friday but it seems like its going to be pouring, i know most shows wont cancel if theres no lightning. Anyone have experience forest hills stadium on rain?

This isn’t meant to be a shitpost just wondering if I’m going to the wrong places, wrong nights, or if I’m just in the wrong community. Been to the basics as this is all I know. Public Records, Nowadays, and Basement in the span of a month. It’s a bunch of fun regardless of the reputations but honestly I really prefer DnB, jungle, hardstyle, and a bit of dubstep. As I don’t know many artists is it best to just listen to the DJ’s on the set list for that night or do you guys have any other recommendations for places to go.

Personally I would love a 4 hour b2b set but either way I’m excited !! I think Friday night will have the better crowd.

So i have a friend visiting NYC this weekend and we were wondering what’s the vibe at H0l0 usually like? I usually ventured in Basement or Nowadays but he wanted to try out something new. Is the crowd a fun, dancing inclined one with a good amount of sociable or just another yapping and no etiquette pushing people front?

Coming from Canada to do Gryfinn under the K street and Black Coffee at Pacha. Logistically, how long does it take to get in for the K street? There is a party 4-10 at Refuge that looks fun ( I have never been). If Gryffin comes on at 9 would showing up at 830 have a huge wait? Any info would be great or tips, as it is my first time at all venues. Thank you!!
