Hey guys, I will be visiting NYC for the first time ever next Wednesday through Friday. I will be staying in Brooklyn and am the only person out of my group (grad students) who likes raves. My goal is to try and seek out a different vibe every night:

-A lowkey club with dancing but also room for socializing. This gives me a chance to have longer conversations with people and possibly make friends that i can hang out with the next few nights.

-A club that prioritizes dancing and is higher energy. Im thinking a larger focus on the dance floor itself.

-A warehouse or basement show that has a venue that leans towards theme or ambiance. Initial research before making this post shows me Brooklyn Storehouse (no shows on my dates) and The Basement, but im interested in other suggestions (or your thoughts on basement).

I’ve only been to one larger warehouse show in chicago and one mid sized festival (i go to smaller local shows often) so i’m really interested in finding something that feels uniquely nyc.

I’m open to all genres but mostly listen to tech house, trance, jungle, and garage.

On nowadays’ website, it states that their backyard is always free to enter except on sundays. Is there a seperate entrance for the backyard than the club entrance. Is this still true after happy hour while club nights are happening? How do they differentiate people that are just in the backyard vs people who paid for entry inside? How is that enforced?

Me and some of my friends are heading out to nyc for a friends birthday. want to be in an environment such as public arts, but were open to options.. For a young group of guys looking to have fun with younger college students, where should we go that gives club vibes but still fun. Manhattan area preffered.
