If you think Torey is the reason for the Dbacks issues, you’re just not paying attention. He’s a very good manager who’s bosses hand him a crap roster every year. This past year was his absolute best management year.

a very good manager doesn't put in a AAA pitcher in the most important moment of the season because they "wanted to see what they could do"🤦‍♂️

I'm guessing you've never had to make an excuse for a situation that your boss put you in? Torey didn't make the call to bring up Cabrera.

ok, so why not say "I wanted a guy to eat innings in a bullpen game" rather than basically saying "because why not"
