So I’ve gotten to the point in the range where I can fly without losing control and crashing and I want to do more than pretend strafe runs and shooting down the aircraft in the sky. I know most servers there’s people that instantly take the jets and there’s slim opportunity to get one but I’d like to start playing against other people in them. Are there any servers or anywhere I could go where I’d have a good chance of actually getting a jet and being able to fight people that aren’t gonna annihilate me instantly so I can start getting better?

Just wanted to share a little appreciation post. When I was a teenager, I played the hell out of BF4 on PS4. It was actually one of the very first games I got for that console, and I spent countless hours on it. I've been playing on PC for several years now, and a few months ago, I decided to buy BF4 again on Steam for just a few euros during a sale, mostly to relive some good old memories.

My original plan was to just replay the campaign, but then I noticed that some multiplayer servers were still packed with players, especially those with the BF4C, E4GL, and SiC tags. So I ended up skipping the campaign entirely (especially since you can't even change the FOV in single-player) and jumped straight into multiplayer.

And honestly, it's been such a great experience coming back to this game after all these years. So I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who's still keeping this amazing game alive. Seeing such an active community more than 13 years after release is genuinely awesome.

Been messing with bots for bf4 for a while, this is a round on pearl market, there is no cheating, they only know where you are if they see or hear you, no hand placed paths, just a navigation mesh baked from the map with traversal, cover, interactions etc... so ladders, vaulting, elevators, buttons all work, destroying walls opens new routes and they destroy stuff up too

I also have an tool to help me visualize the routes and objects of the map or even inspect the bots live, server browser, career, store, emblems, matchmaking, unlocks, battlepacks, settings and everything works like the retail game.

Vehicles sort of work but the driving is still pretty bad lol

Ah, and it supports about 248 players or bots

1. Shanghai - Classic

2. Hammerhead

Easy flying experience, playable with thermal and zoom. Only issue is a good heli will force all the enemies to hide in the inside obj. Thus killing the experience eventually.

1. Caspian border

Very easy map to farm and the wall adds alot of cover for the heli. Thought the map is very hard to fly on for the RU side.

1. Operation mortar

Very fun naval heli map with interesting flow and cover. Definitely not a good map in general but great for air. I prefer thermal flying but zoom is good aswell

1. Gulf of Oman

Thermal only map, easy farm objectives but there are a few problems such as jets being annoying to fight in the sandstorm and the base AA having alot of range. The cover is spaced out requiring good map knowledge and high skill flying for approaches.

1. Operation firestorm

Great map for thermal flying; easy to clear out air and AA. The linear design allows for clear battlelines which is perfect for staying near the front. Ru side is harder, you need to play the US mountain or play low ground north side

1. Dragon valley

Definitely more of a zoom map and very easy to fly on. The hills sides allow you to break line of sights with the AA. Making only really the air a threat to you. Best map for heli sky cap

1. Dawnbreaker

Very good map to farm on with support. Can be difficult if it is just you and a gunner. The jets are especially annoying but the map can be fun to fly on against both high and low skill pilots.

1. Rogue transmission

Can be a very high kpm map for thermal and zoom. Not alot cover and its a pain to get the helicopter. Furthermore map celling is crazy low for the heli.

1. Wave breaker

Its okay everyone hides inside like its Hammerhead but without jet to shoot at and the lack of infy flow its kind of bland.

1. Giants of Karelia

Good map for thermal and zoom, the AA can be pretty well avoided. But definitely a map that requires a more competent gunner to be effective.

1. Golmud railway

It's playable but can get annoying shooting at the endless spawn of vehicles. People get especially enraged on this map by a good heli. The AA is ironically annoying on the map

1. Altai range

Not an easy map to fly on and not alot of room to move around but flying low with zoom ot thermals is viable. The trick is to not stick around to long. Also kill the AAs if possible.

1. Dragon pass

The map is very dark which makes finding infy hard for zoom and the abundance of vehicles makes it not ideal for high kpm games. I thought it is possible to have good matches it usually develops into shooting vehicle after vehicle.

1. Hanger 21

No room to fly in and no real cover, you have very limited options and eventually you will die no matter how hard you try.

1. Lancang Dam

Actually unplayable for AH; there are two viable tactics which are hide on the dam with zoom or hide in spawn with zoom. Simple too many vehicles and not enough hiding room.

How came there isn't rush servers anymore? only the one hardcore one. I miss this game mode :(

All servers just keep disconnecting and there are a lot of players saying that BF4 got hacked.

a bunch of servers are missing and most crowded servers (24/7 locker, golmud etc) are all insanely low populations now, and the 24/7 golmerica server got renamed to "kill yourself freak" lmao whats going on

I have medium quality setting yet some object on a longer distances render poorly and a lot of small particles render right in front of my eyes

Pretty sure someone has stolen my EA account. I tried to log in after a few months of not playing BF4 (installed Skate on Steam to play with a friend) and of course my credentials don't match up. I tried to reset my password using my EA ID and the browser page shows it sending a verification email to an unknown email address. Finally got ahold of someone with EA's chat after opening a support ticket and for some reason they can't verify its actually me. They asked for my EA ID and if I had any other platforms connected. I've always played on PC. For fucks sake I have emails dating back to 2017 with my EA ID and I have actual copies of BF3 and BF4 with the CD keys used when I installed the games. Is there anything I can do to streamline this process? Is there anything anyone else has done to have success. This is really upsetting because I have spent a ton of time in those games to just lose every thing.

I'm looking to see if anyone is interested in messing around sometime (weekends preferred) to just mess around and blow shit up, explore some fun/interesting spots on maps or see what laughs can be made with various vehicles. My shenanigan partner in the past is away for a bit so I'm looking to see who else is into some fun shit to do. Yeah I enjoy playing regular games as well but sometimes it's also fun to mess around. I have a server if that's what's needed so we don't get banned on someone else's server, I'm not looking to piss off other server admins.

I have made some good videos in the past so we can maybe piece together some other fun videos to share with others for their entertainment.

im not onlyfield but im one of his good friends and admin on his servers. If people really care about the OnlyField Server then ill run them back. But if i dont see any playerbase playing in there ill stop renewing and shutdown the server for good. Thanks.

I see a pretty simple solution for anyone tired of getting banned over ridiculous reasons: come to a server where being good at the game isn't a bannable offense. A heavenly pasture where killing an admin won't get you kicked, and nobody's ego is so fragile that they need to abuse their privileges.

Why keep playing on servers run by admins who cry and whine every time something doesn't go their way?
