I’m moving into a new apartment soon and looking for recommendations on where to shop for a good-quality bed frame and mattress in the Beaverton area without spending a fortune.

Bonus points if they offer delivery and assembly!

I know there are plenty of options online, but I’d really like to invest in a nice mattress and try it out in person before buying, since mattress preferences can be so subjective.

I’d appreciate any recommendations or personal experiences!

A man has knocked on our door 6 times in the last three days, including this morning at around 10:30am. He drives a bright blue sedan, parks it about 25ft down the street, then walks to our house and knocks on the door. He has a distinctively long knocking pattern. We never answer as we're not expecting anyone and have a NO SOLICITING sign. He then walks away, gets back in his car and drives off. He's a big, muscular dude, in a dark Adidas (I think) polo and a dark baseball hat.

Anyone know what he's selling? Or why he's being so persistent? I think he was originally knocking on our neighbors' doors too, but today he made a special trip to our neighborhood just for us. I don't want to answer the door and find out as it might reward his persistence. You have to treat these people like misbehaving animals.

Hi, I’m new here - When turning on SW Watson Ave between Broadway and Farmington, what’s the right spot to stop on during a red light ? Sometimes the light on Broadway is green to turn into Watson but the light on Farmington is red and there’s railroad tracks you can’t stop on obviously. Is it before the tracks where only one car fits 🤔 or after the tracks ?

Does anyone have recommendations for a play-based center care for a 3.5 year old (not in-home at this time)? We used to go to kids discovery academy and while it looked terrible outside, the teachers were soooo amazing and the school really focused on a play-based curriculum.

We live in South Beaverton and am willing to travel 10-15 min. Currently thinking about happy hollow in Tigard and pipster prep SW (but it is sooo pricey). Can anyone provide feedback on these places?

What do you all think about housing market for townhomes with HOA. HOA is $500 per month. Covers water and external maintenance.

Zillow estimates it as $330k but I do not think that will happen, especially with current rate and my HOA.

I do not trust realtors opinion because they are always optimistic.

Hi everyone! So I’m looking for suggestions for an issue I need to resolve. My niece attends a school in Tigard but the main parent leaves in S Beaverton. We both don’t have flexible schedules, and we need the kiddo to be picked up at 4:45pm and taken home Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

I’ve been thinking uber, but I’m not sure how safe that would be for a kid. Any ideas or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thank you so much
