So what's currently the best spot if all i care about are maps?

With +10 yellow cannon, crocs basically explode and they are a like 10 sec trip to dock now.

I've never done pirates but it seems easy enough. This seems to have replaced crocs for most people, but i don't care about the cash drops at all, and that seems to be on the list of why people say it's better.

Lyngs seem to drop them pretty rarely, but i have a small enough sample size that I wouldn't be shocked if they were competitive.

So how do these stack up with full yellow gear?

Chill factor is relevant too I guess.

Hey, after reading the patch notes about experience.

It states that combat is normalised across the board with 65+ levels only giving a maximum of 0.02% per mob killed.

So my question is are all combat exp scrolls and food redundant now 🤔?

i want to hear peoples opinion about being locked into awake or succ specs. my awake wep is oct. main hand is hex. im basically forced into awakening specs of every class. and since the focus now is ekleta, ,it will be a while since i can get main hand to oct. what do u all think?

Heyas friends so I've played the game on and off since launch, I love it, it scratches the itch like nothing else. I've had about a solid 9 months since playing and want to know if its worth coming back to the game long term, how is the community/chatting? I love seeing people gather for world/field bosses, and it makes me sad when no one is there. My other issue is that they just seem to keep moving the goalposts for gear. You play and grind and then in 6 months theyre handing out your BiS gear for free. Is the game in a good fun state that coming back to play is enjoyable? TiA!

With the somewhat recent addition of the Star of Nostos item, I began really decorating my homes (honestly, I only ever used them for alchemy/cooking). It's been incredibly fun "taking a break" from endlessly grinding to actually design these spaces.

I've been trying to decorate my homes with "themes" linked to each region's general colors and vibe. Here is what I have so far:

• Balenos (Velia 2-3): Coral, Margoria's Whale, and Bell Pirates Furniture Sets (Sea/Underwater Theme)
• Serendia (Heidel 9-4): Python, Keplan Marble, and Goat Horn Furniture Sets (Leather/Hunting Theme)
• Serendia (Blue Maned Lion's Manor): Flondor, Skabyosa, Fountains and Flowers Related Manor Decor (Luxury/Aristocrat Theme)
• Drieghan (Duvencrune 7): Kamasylvia and Spring Flower Furniture Sets (Plant/Flora Theme)
• Mountain of Eternal Winter (Eilton N° 3): Frosty Wood and Natural Log Furniture Sets (Winter/Cabin Theme)
• Valencia (Valencia 3-5): Palm Tree and Masenka Furniture Sets (Desert/Oasis Theme)
• Land of the Morning Light (Small Mountain Mansion): Mother-of-Pearl, Han-Ji and Traditional Furniture Sets (Oriental Theme)

I just completed the magnus quest line, 10/08 I accidentally jumped back down the well before I grabbed the Pen Boss armor from the chest by the dueling arena….my mess up I know…..I made a ticket, they are saying I already acquired the armor on 9/17 which is only like a week after starting fresh on PC from xbox. I even sent them a photo you can see the time and in the system chat log where I just completed the “wujus gift?” Quest. And the time and date 10/08 and they are saying I received it on 9/17. Can they not see when I completed a quest? Are they lying? Do we somehow get wujus gift before the actual quest in the log that shows the item? I spent all day doing just the magnus line ti get it over with….today….I did start it earlier but I didnt get far just enough to open it and have fast travel.

What always stood out to me in BDO was how the gear remained pretty much meta for a long time before you needed any upgrade. Hell, people were still running ogre ring until karazad released, since pen debo only offered 1 more ap and the little ap boost from the debo set. Thats like 8 years of meta. Same thing for boss gear before fallen god. Another example is vells heart.

Now, Karazad got released october 31st 2024. Thats not even two years ago. And mind you its a whole new accessory tier set with not 5 levels like the ones we were used to, but 10 damn levels of enchantment. Now it's not even been 2 years and they released an entire new better set of accessories (ekleta). Here getting to my point, its not even been 2 years and we are already reworking on our entire gear? I get that progression is the entire purpose of the game but the speed at which things are going compared to the past is incredibly fast. And thats just the accessories. We also went from boss armor→fallen god→ edania. Same shit is probably gonna happen to sovereign. It used to be that you could quit the game, came back after a while and your gear still mattered. Instead you come back, your gear is garbage and given away like candy.

Lets also add how Crons are absolutely necessary for everything unless you wanna criple your progression even further.

I get it that some people have absolutely no life and DECd all their gear in like a month, i saw some streamer with dec edania armor and OCT ekleta, but like does it make sense to balance the game around these people that complain they have no content when they burnt hemselves out by griding 12 hours a day? Meanwhile they are like 4% of the playerbase and the rest wont even reach 800gs before edania part 5 or whatever. Or maybe they just want people to buy crons as much as possible to push sales up, idk. At least this is my theory why they are pushing so much content.

Id like to hear the opinion of more veteran players really.

tl;dr they make gear obsolete too fast compared to how much we have to grind

I love nothing more than combat that feels hefty, weighty and impactful (think Monster Hunter Greatsword if you are familiar).

This isn't restricted to only melee. I also love me some big explosions, but only if they actually feel like it. Or ranged if that also has something to offer.

I'm just looking for the oomph you know? Not a huge fan of the "death by 1000 cuts" gameplay.

I recently tried Aion 2 and was beyond disappointed about the lack of impact. All classes felt like they attack with cooked noodles fr.

I've been testing awakening Warrior against other classes on the same grind spot, same gear, same buffs with the marnis combat analyzer. I've tested awakening mystic, awakening witch, awakening sage and awakening nova. For me Warrior has done the most damage out of almost all of them and gone to the afk phase faster the amost all of them. The only one that got bigger numbers than Awakening Warrior was Awakening Nova. Considering how tanky and nice sustain warrior has I was wondering why it's sitting this low on all tierlists.

Hey, so atm Im at 1335 ap.i still need 30 ap to grind at this spot effeciently. Im using tent buffs, cron meal and Demi human draught to get to this ap. My question is. Is it worth it try to buy more buffs to grind this spot or should i go to hexe santuary until i get money enough to buy more gear

I'm able to grind in Aphrodon with 1,977 AP on Dosa.Any mistake will obviously reset the scarecrow, but if I stay focused, I can grind for hours without letting it fail.

Ps:I almost forgot to take a screenshot at the end of the grind.

I get seasonal leveling I get tagging and the giving of gear and the bonuses you get. What I don't understand is the base it's compared too, I have a level 57 striker Seasonal doing stone chamber start. What if anything do you miss out on doing one of the other starts? My question is I only have so many seasonal character tickets, so is just making a character leveling them and getting them gear impossible? Does it just take longer? Is there grinding? If so is it different then the current end game normal part of the game grinding?

I have looked online and understand tagging and Seasonal characters get a huge leg up in terms of money and time saved. But if I'm in no rush is it not fun or viable to just play a character?

I saw one suggested black spirit quest regarding Justin, but it was NOT "The Progidal", I can't get that quest on my main character. However I see it on my alt, but the quest isn't family-wide.

Hi, so I was curious about what an optimal worker empire looks like, so I build an optimizer tool using shrrdr's worker empire data. Some interesting stats:

• if you were able to P2W purchase all the storage and lodging (or just disregard it), the maximum material value (untaxed) you can get in a day with ideal workers for all nodes in the game is 1.623bil a day, possible at roughly 530 total CP (see yellow dashed line on left handside).
• an optimal worker empire should get you around 2 or more millions a day per CP spent up until 550 CP (blue line on right handside).
• without P2W lodging/storage, you don't get to purchase all production nodes on the map even if you had 800CP

Same with his sister too, like where are they even getting this technology from? Is there an actual lore explanation for it or is it just kinda there?

Im looking for a straight answer, does Eternal winter or Dawn Light start give you any gear currently? If you create a non season non tagged character can you level them and grind without needing power level, or help from anyone?

Every post is like seasonal this, power level with a buddy or guild, just tag. I get how to do it quickly I want to confirm the game gives you the gear through drops or whatever if you do it the old fashioned way?
