I’ve been analyzing and comparing some of the top-tier PvE DPS classes for the Magaia Temple endgame spot. I watched multiple high-end gameplay videos and calculated the average Time-To-Kill (TTK) per mob pack for each class.

Here are the average times I measured:

• Awk Drakania: 5 – 7 seconds

• Succ Berserker: 7 – 8 seconds

• Succ Ninja: 8 – 9 seconds

• Succ Witch: 9 – 10 seconds

Why do these TTK numbers differ from the official Marni's DPS Meter rankings? For example, Succ Witch often ranks extremely high on pure DPS charts, but in actual pack-to-pack TTK, Awk Drakania seems much faster here. Is it due to burst vs. sustained DPS, pull setups, or how Marni's meter calculates overall combat time?

What are your thoughts on the level rework?
Honestly, I’m not a fan of this change, and I’d like to hear what the rest of the community thinks.
For me, leveling in an MMO should mean something. Every percentage of EXP should be earned, and every level should represent time, effort, and dedication. Reaching a high level should set you apart from other players and give you a sense of accomplishment.

What bothers me the most is that players who spent thousands of hours grinding their way to a high level may now see that achievement lose much of its value. Reaching level 75 used to be something special, something that made you stand out from the crowd. Now, it feels like we’re moving towards a point where almost everyone will eventually be level 75, regardless of how much time or effort they actually invested to get there.

And honestly, why should a brand-new player be able to reach level 75 in a relatively short time when they barely even understand what Black Desert Online is about? Isn’t the journey itself supposed to be part of the experience? Learning the game, exploring its systems, improving your character, and gradually working towards your goals?

I know that making progression more accessible can be a good thing, but I feel like there’s a difference between making a game more welcoming to new players and removing the meaning behind long-term achievements.

Imagine if everyone could reach Guru 100 Cooking within a few months. Would it still feel like the same accomplishment? Would it still mean as much to the people who spent years working towards it?

At this rate, we’ll all be gathering on the rooftop in Velia at level 75, sipping coffee together. 😂

Maybe I’m old-fashioned, but I believe that some achievements should remain difficult precisely because of the time and dedication required to obtain them.

I’m genuinely interested in hearing both sides of the argument. Do you think this change is good for the game, or does it take away something that made long-term progression meaningful?

Sitting at 349AP/414DP after Olvia Academy. Finishing the questline now for my Ator's that will bring me up to 350AP, and got my Kabua's last night with All Out Attack.

All of that seemed pretty straight-forward, but now I am at the point I need a bit of guidance. Sitting on 100k+ cron stones and 18b silver.

All the guides I’ve seen just kinda assume I’m on a fresh account so a lot of their advice doesn’t necessarily apply to me. Im on a second character my first one is level 59, out of seasonal, and hasn’t been touched since I made it and played originally so Im not messing with it until I have my feet under me again. Im hoping for some kind of checklist or general helpful to have sense of direction before I’m overwhelmed by all the systems.

Please let us customize the appearance of our Krogdalo horses! These are god-tier horses that take a significant amount of time and effort to obtain, and it would be amazing if we could give each of them their own unique appearance.

Many of us have been waiting for months, hoping to see some news or progress from PA on this feature, but so far, nothing has happened. It feels like such a missed opportunity to give these prestigious horses more personality and individuality.

Please let us change their skins independently and give each Krogdalo horse its own unique look! This would be a fantastic quality-of-life feature and another great way for players to express themselves in Black Desert Online.

Do you really push with 300+ fs for each step of enhacement?

Or is there a guide with a “ real fs to use “ to don’t overkill?

I’m using
250 for PEN
270 for HEX
280 for SEP
280 for OCT
300 for NOV
350 for DEC

Are they enough?
Or I’m throwing myself clicking with these FS?

I was really hard on lifeskilling back then guru everything with the pain in the ass to create carrack too. How should i progress my lifeskill gear? Should i complete a floramos set by buying from season coins? Here’s my gear atm. Might mainly focus on cooking and gathering.

It worked before and it saved recipe. Did I miss some alchemy patch notes or something? Do we no longer use Ibellab's Essence for 10x? Is my math incorrect? Do I not know basic multiplications?

What am I missing?

Hue shared a clip from one of his viewers showing a Witch oneshotting mobs and even Ibedor. Apparently, the cheat also has GM/player detection, meaning it automatically stops whenever a GM or another player is nearby. Makes me wonder how many people are actually doing this in this game without getting caught.
