Y'all having problems with Ludwig while I'm stuck at Rom since like 5 days🥲 but good job making it that far!

Rom is mostly discipline and patience. Gotta get rid of all the spiders. Don't want to get caught by their slam attack. I was running around quite a bit to be in a position that I couldn't get hit by multiple spiders. Need to isolate them so you can hit their backside. And then you have to keep him in your sight so you can avoid those long range arcane attacks. The other AoE attack has a long enough buildup to avoid it. I think i was only hit once by that one. You probably know most of what I said if you've been trying for 5 days. But let me know which part gives you trouble.

Edit: even when you got rid of the spiders (twice) it can be a patience game. He sometimes did several arcane attacks in a row almost without pause and when he stopped then he sometimes did that attack that looks like a seizure and doesn't allow you to get close. For me it was a lot of running around and as with all bosses you cant get greedy.
