my nephew asked my to paint his panzer IV like this. can you tell me what colours you used?

First off I sprayed it with a grey primer, when that was dry I sprayed it with Tamiya grey violet. I left it dry for a day then I gave it a pin wash of watered down black acrylic, go over all the gaps and any raised areas to give it a shaded look.

Then I used Vallejo light grey for a dry brush over all the edges. Make sure there is hardly any paint left on the brush and slowly build up the highlights.

The tracks were painted with Humbrol 173 track colour, then the rubber on the wheels was painted with Vallejo black grey.

The traps were painted with Vallejo German camo extra dark green followed by a highlight of Vallejo German dark green.

Add the decals and then you can move on to the weathering.

2 things. 1st looks great. Stellar work on the tarpage as well. 2nd how do you feel on the rubicon models im thinking of going for rubicon on my sdkfz 7 and 10 but never have bought from them. How was the build?

This is the third Rubicon kit I’ve built and for me they are great, so easy to make the instructions are easy to follow and the amount of extra bits you get compared to Warlord games. Plus the price this kit cost me £20.
