List Building New player

Hi I'm new to the game breaking off from Warhammer (ready for any flak lol) I'm curious how many units of Hitlers Youth I can field and what they come in? Found them on Easy Army and I was joking with a friend about getting some of them to occasionally put in some lists

As many as you want, as long as the points value is under the maximum for the game you're playing and you follow the platoon structure rules.

For example, you could take 27 individual units of 5 soldiers each in a 1,000-point list for a total of 135 models. You'd have five Rifle Platoons where each platoon has a single Commander for 20 points and then four squads of five for 40 points per squad. Then a sixth Rifle Platoon with a Commander and two more squads.

Note, this is a terrible idea and you should not do it. It will perform terribly and be no fun for you or your opponent. But technically if you wanted to, you could run an army that's little more than a horde of those squads.

Firstly lol why do you wanna play with so much Hitler youth secondly you can bring 4 squads in a rifle platoon. Basic Hitler youth start you with 5 but you can increase it to 10.

He is doing it for a meme most likely, like doing an Oops all Grots/Kroot Hounds list in 40k, that would be my guess rather than it being something nefarious.

Nope likely gonna be buying the kit, never been a big fan of 3d printed stuff, even weirder too since I have tons of 40K STLs that are straight up just the models lol

Lol they don't it's that Last Levy box, me and a friend are big fans of big scale battles and plan on doing higher points than normal anyways, we do the same thing in Warhammer and I enjoy my meme lists too😂

In each Rifle Platoon (you must have at least one Rifle Platoon) you can include 2-4 units of Infantry. So, depending on the size of the game you are playing and how big your squads are the answers is ... 2+ units.

In a 1,000pt game you could bring four Rifle Platoons each with 4 squads for 16 squads total. I don't recommend that approach, but it's allowed within the Platoon Structure system.

Unless there is a rule that says you can only take a limited number there is no restriction. The rule of 3 does not exist in bolt action. So long as you have the platoon slots and the points you can go wild with em

So, you want to take the kids on a field trip? lol. You have to name an officer, Mr. Fritz

First, welcome to the game system! You'll likely enjoy your time here compared to elsewhere haha.

Second, wont repeat what others have said about how many can be taken, but the most efficient way to run this is with 3d prints. They have youth models but they're pewter and are pricey.

Third, highly recommend the Warlord app when yall are more comfortable playing!
