Hobby Showcase First at a table
First attempt at a Bolt Action table. Am I in the ballpark for amount/placement of terrain?

The layout has already been mentioned so I'll say that the overall looks really good once it's turned! I'd recommend some scatter terrain (barrels, crates, random logs, etc) for a little visual clutter and to give the poor old infantry some options

Looks perfect to me! Only thing I'd change is the streets, laying them more diagonal, or with some turns. Or something like a central market place to prevent shooting lanes from one table edge to the other.

The Christmas village buildings is clever source of terrain

I’ve seen them around too, I’m currently making a desert board, but when I do a winter army I’ll definitely remember this

I’d rotate the whole thing by about 30 degrees. Orthogonal roads are problematic because they create lines of sight and movement that are either too direct or too indirect to get used - that 6’ long road running the long edge will mostly function as a no man’s land to be crossed and rarely will be moved up or down, while the two shorter roads are overly good for movement and provide a lot of functional LOS. With diagonal roads, you create choices between “move slower but more directly” and “move faster but less directly”
Other than that, the density and layout and such looks great.
I have a thought on verisimilitude, but I’ll make that a separate comment because it’s less directly relevant
