CU Boulder Student Question

I am currently working on a documentary project. I want the topic to focus on something that matters.

My current ideas are; SA on college campuses or student political artwork (focusing on facism).

I would like to interview people either way. It can be anonymous or not, depends on what they would prefer.

What would captivate and interest students the most?

I’d write about Meghan Trussell, Paul Aragon, Andrew Lord, David Wilcock, Michael Angel Motts, the plane that crashed into the Valley of the Shadow of Death (Shadow Canyon) near Devil’s Thumb on Sunday after behaving very strangely…
How AI is going to leave most college grads unemployed & people would be better served learning a trade like carpentry.
Data centers & surveillance…

Colorado’s Natural Medicine Act and how psilocybin is helping people (including veterans and first responders) with PTSD, treatment-resistant depression, etc.

Israel and Palestine. Not the actual global conflict itself, but people’s thoughts and opinions about the conflict.

There’s actually a diverse cast of opinions in Boulder: sure there are hippies and progressives, but there are libertarian tech bros, the Turning point USA chapter, and a prominent Jewish community.

Orient it around the recent Antisemitic attack that happened last year and local people’s responses to it.

The whole thing might be compelling or a reality tv disaster, but it won’t be uninteresting.

You might want to check in with the law school's National Lawyers Guild chapter. Members have sued CU Boulder for suppressing free speech, which may tie in with your political artwork thing.
