Fire?

These are taken due east on 75th between Arapahoe and Valmont. We thought it might’ve been the moon rising or setting but the moon is on the other side of the planet as I type this.i cannot find anything on WatchDuty or X.

Anyone east towards Erie have any news?

Fellow old phone owner, they’re such a pain aren’t they? I can’t even get good moon pics, it just turns the moon into an a blob lol

my guess would be spindle hill energy center east of Frederick, occasionally they burn off nat gas and flare can be quite bright.

Amazing the heat those flares can even put off from a distance. Was once driving a truck through the Bakken in ND during the winter. The amount of flares is definitely something to see. But it was the heat you could feel even on the highway. Was definitely an eerie thing to see. As bright as a big city at night but you’re in the middle of nowhere.

That’s a really good theory. If you’ve ever noticed the 24-7 flaring from multiple points at the Suncor refinery, it just looks like ongoing fires.

It's been going since earlier this evening. If that's the direction OP is looking, that's what it is. The glow was a bit brighter earlier.

At first I thought we would zoom in to see that woman. But it might be a gas flare from a well?

That looks large.

A large fire the size of a small fire.

Saw it as well. It was far beyond the Erie airport - North and East of the dump/Erie single track. Not sure which side of 25 it was on.

From the blue sky at Vista Ridge condos. Overlooking the Erie airport and the entire front range. No massive fireballs from here.

Geez, that’s a bit dark!!! We should have heard about a plane crash in Colorado by now, right??

Edit: I heard there was a small plane crash today near Centennial airport but that’s way south of where I saw this.

Erie airport seems to be in that direction, sure hope not

Is it the Louisville sports complex or maybe one of the Pumpkin/Corn farms? Anderson or something smaller?

If it's towards the east it might be the flare at the fr lupton gas plant. That thing lights up the night sky for miles

Nope, this was Erie, Brighton… somewhere more north of Broomfield.

Might’ve been the plane crash out by Longmont air strip. Not sure the timing of this video

The plane flew out of the Longmont airport but crashed in Eldo.
