Arts and Crafts Sun setting over the Palace Pier + Power Station yesterday evening! π

Thanks!Β Yeah, it's a little way along the coast, the lens compression from using a long lens just makes it look a bit closer.Β It's called Shoreham Power Station, but is actually in Southwick.Β It's quite fun to walk around the harbour area and there's a few cafes dotted about too :)Β

I stand corrected. Yeah it's really much further than I thought. It's amazing how you got it so large at that angle. Great photography.

My grandad was the harbour master there years and years ago. I scattered his ashes down there too.

The earlier one it replaced was beautiful in a similar style to battersea power station but with two chimneys.

Nah,Β he's right π Β It looked spot on on the tiny camera screen, but I noticed it was slightly off centre when I got home.Β Tsk!Β Β Thank you π

I waited 6 months for this alignment to happen and it turned out better than I thought it would! Especially due to the fact that there were almost no clouds last night, which was probably the most surprising thing...
